Good faculty with average placement record.

Positive: Faculties are good. Library is excellent. Laboratories are equipped with good machineries and softwares which is sufficiently high. Negative: Infrastructure should have been better. Placement is not good for Mechanical Engineering. Department

Our college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). So it follows the guidelines set by the University. The course structure is similar to other colleges of the country mostly outdated. I think the University should update the syllabus with current technology and developments. The labs are also old and involves conventional ways of learning.

The placement record as far as mechanical branch is concerned has not been upto the mark. But for CSE and ISE branches, companies visit regularly and good part even mechanical students can take part. Placement training sessions is being made compulsory for all students, which takes place once or twice a week

Every year the college celebrates one cultural fest and Sports Day. The cultural fest (Krishnamanthana) is held in the month of April, where students take part actively. On the other hand sports day takes place in the month of October

The fee structure is considerably less compared to the other colleges. It is feasible. On an average a student from general category would pay around 85 thousand per year which includes CET fees of 55000-60000 and College fees 25000

As per my knowledge the college doesn't provide any scholarships or loan facilities for students. But based on income of a student the Government of Karnataka has come up with good scholarships for meritorious students

The library is good considering the number of books and references it has. But it doesn't have the latest editions. Sports day takes place in the month of October and most of the games are played and Cricket is the most celebrated game.

There's no alumni association or network in our college. Last year(2019) college had conducted alumni meet. Most of our seniors had come to the meet. They shared their experience during their stay in the college. They also gave ideas and guidance for our future endeavours.

I got this college through Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). The KEA conducts entrance test for undergraduate programs for various colleges in Karnataka. Based on merit I got this college in the third round of the seat allotment process

The faculty in Mechanical Engineering Department are excellent. All are well qualified and most of them have keen interest in research and development. Our HoD sir with all the experience he has guides us in subject matters and also encourages us to take part in extra curricular activities.
