College Review

The college management is very bad, they are far bothered about the well being of their students.

The course curriculum is fair but the teachings and technology oriented workshops and awareness are less. No industrial visits have been organised for us so far. The curriculum is not up to date. And the college faculty is least bothered about the students' mental and physical condition and they don't even care about what today's world require and need from us.

The condition of placements in our college is adverse. Not all the companies that are coming to the College campus drive are giving even the minimum basic salary that is needed to sustain in today's world. Some of the companies even recruited students for a particular post and then afterwards when the students join their company, they are asked to work for a different post and when asked why then they have been told that either no such posts that they've been recruited to exist in the company or has been called off prior to their joining.

Our college doesn't do many festivals and events throughout the year. Only a college fest is being hosted every year by our college. And that college festival is not that intriguing too. They organize events that don't appeal to the majority of the students. They force students by saying it is mandatory for all of you to participate in at least two activities otherwise they wouldn't provide us with sessional marks.

The fee structure is quite expensive according to me as the fees that these people are charging from us and the facilities that they are providing to us don't match up. The facilities that they are providing are very poor. We being CSE students although should be spending most of our time in computer labs instead we are asked to do classroom teaching even during our practical lab lectures because almost throughout the year our college is playing the role of some government exam center and even those computer system which never worked if we ever got a chance to attend labs works during those examinations.

I have availed for an educational loan during my first year itself but the college staff never helped me regarding it. They work like any corrupt government official and always try to avoid doing work, they make students in need to wander around the whole premises, not showing the least bit of sympathy towards them.

The gender ratio is fair enough according to me in our college. There are no student parties, workshops being organized for the students. There is a cultural society existing in our college but what it does is the question that those even those members can't answer. No any kind of extracurricular activities are entertained in the college, the labs are inadequate, computer systems are not upto date, pirated softwares are being used in the computers.

We were not allowed to be in contact with our seniors in the initial college days and they don't allow us to meet them out of college premises after college hours.

This college was allotted to me by the state government online portal named mponline on the basis of my IIT-JEE rank and preference. Steps are- 1. Received a call from the college that I've been allotted CSE branch in this college and have to come and do the registration and rest of the admission formalities. 2. I simply went there, they asked me for a few documents and then asked me to pay a small amount of my first year college fee. 3. I paid them n that's it.

I would rate them below par as most of them are new faculty only which lack both teaching experience and subject knowledge. Only a few teachers have adequate knowledge and experience regarding the subjects of our curriculum. They don't even know the basics that are required to teach the subjects of our curriculum.
