Remarks
The College in general is good when compared to the rest. It is easily accessible anywhere from Bangalore. The only negative is that some lab attenders act as professors and principals. The mentally assault us.
Course Curriculum Overview
New course curriculum was adapted for my batch of 2015 to 2019. We had a choice of choosing the subjects we like in 3rd and 4th year of College. There's no scope of research, only in project selection you can do some research if you want. Exam was conducted every six months or called semester. Exams were easy.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunity for mechanical engineering was less. The College doesn't provide guaranteed internship. Most of the internship had no stipend. Most of the companies were software and IT related not many from core mechanical engineering.
College Events
Many events will be conducted along with our academics. Cultural program are conducted once or twice year. There will competitions and cash prizes. Singing, dancing, rap battles, fashion show, mobile games etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is comparatively less. Around 3 to 5 lakhs per annum depending on the branch f engineering. For mechanical it was 12 lakhs during my stay. Those students having come minority can avail scholarship from the government.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I didn't take any loan but the College have bank inside the campus. Many people have taken loan from bank. The student loan has interest rate varying from 12 to 14 percent. You can also avail loan from other banks.
Campus Life
They have very good sports facility inside the campus. Cricket, football, table tennis, carrom, gym facilities are available. No extra charges for the sports. No discrimination is made inside the College.
Alumni/Alumna
Many seminars were conducted by the seniors or alumni member. It was very helpful for building my career. I have had many interaction with the seniors who were placed in good companies all over India.
Admission
I wrote karnataka Common entrance test and got a rank 28k. The rank was decided on 12th marks and CET SCORE. Since I loved mechanics and thermodynamics. I chose mechanical engineering over others. There was no interview only rank.
Faculty
Not all were excellent but some were really good. Most of them have good knowledge and are pursuing PhD. Also it all depends on student way of approiaching the teacher and clearing the doubt in a well behaved manner.
