About college life

Pros: The management and the processing is quite good comparitively. You can utilize the library, lab and other department resources for your growth also attend the campus recruitment training for a successful campus placement. Cons: Huge change in fee from batch to batch would actually repel few people from joining the college.

In the first year, we'll be having common subjects irrespective of which department you choose.The core subjects will be introduced (basing on your choice of department) from the second year.(This is basically the B.tech stream as I'm currently pursuing it am not so sure about other medical,dental,pharmacy,MBA,BBA,Law e.t.c), so these core subjects go on for the rest of your years.

Placements basically starts at the beginning of the last year of your graduation.You will be given campus recruitment training which will basically prepare you for your campus placements.The training will usually start in your third year second semester and will go on through out your fourth year (hopefully) which will be concentrating on the company that is going to visit the campus.Regarding the internship you need to attend it in your summer holidays.College doesn't provide internship specifically but would recommend known companies to you.

The fee would increase 25 percentage for every fresh batch, but the fee will not change for the batch through out the batch's study period.The hostel room as well as mess costs are collected every month.

The department provides different scholarship depending on the background of the student and the marks the student secured in the semester.Regarding the loans I have no idea as I have not availed any loans.

The college department as well as all the department heads including all the faculty members give a great deed about the extracurricular activities, students attending in noticeable extracurricular activities will be given good support and attendance exemption.Labs are very well equipped with all the resources a student could ask for.

Recently there was a very big meet conducted where all the alumni of last 20 years met.There has been different activities and fun they had and all of them interacted.We can get a lot of help from our seniors of at all if you have a quite good relationship with them regarding the projects e.t.c.

I got into gitam by writing GAT(Gitam Admission Test) entrance exam.Based on my rank I could choose computer science department.Basically depending on your rank you would be given your slot i.e the day that you should be attending the counselling where you need to pay the fee and select your department.This is the process for B.tech.

I'm not a fan of every single faculty who have dealt with me but there are a handful who are good.No matter what,they will be quite helpful mainly during the lending of No objection certificate e.t.c also we can refer them if needed for M.S and stuff.
