Fashion designer

The college is not as per my expectations. Everything goes on changing every semester. As for now,the principal is very strict, but she has very good knowledge. Like in every college there is partiality in our college too. The theory syllabus is very less,n more practical part.

The course is very useful professional course.Mang of youngsters are interested in this field, especially girls.One can be a job holder in companies or be an entrepreneur by running his /her own boutique.The course increases the fashion knowledge.One can learn to stitch,design, illustration,technical things about textiles,surface ornamentation,etc.

There are placement opportunities in this college.Companies like Adidas,etc come to college for interviewing students for offering jobs.This college do provide internship.I went to the Om Arham industry which is in Ballari, Karnataka.

We celebrate many events in our college.Like fun week which celebrated one whole week with different themes for dressing which includes games,competitions.There is a big event called 'VINYASA' which is a fashion show in which students are the designers.

The fee is 25k per sem for 6 semesters.It is bit expensive as expenses are more in this field.A student should buy fabrics for stitching,designing materials,sketching materials,Journal making for 4-5 subjects every sem.

Scholarship/loan facility are available in our college.Vidyashree scholarship is one which is applied by the students every year which is not applicable for general merit students.Loan facilities are also available.

There are sports activities like modelling,volleyball,throwball, jewellery making, running etc.which are intercollege competitions.Sports activities are encouraged for those who are interested in them.These extracurricular activities are conducted mostly in kollahpur.

I have opted for Hostel which is in college campus itself.The fee structure is different for different kinds of rooms.Facilities are good and cleanliness is maintained.For more comforts more fee should be paid.I have opted for a double bed room which is 35k per year.The fee goes increasing every year,which is a disappointing part.

Yes ofcourse they'll be helpful when needed.It depends on how we develop relationship with the seniors.The provide their books to us and suggest how to handle the situations in the college.As I am senior this year,I'll be helpful to who ever comes to me.

The admission process is as simple as that.This is a women's college.Just submit puc marks card and previous degree marks card if done with 2 passport size photos.This college runs under Akkamahadevi University,Vijayapura.

Faculty are supportive but not very experienced.Better faculty must be provided for the college betterment.Most of the faculty are women.Theory part is less when compared to other courses,so one read by self.
