Yahraj's Review On VVP Engineering College - [VVPEC], Rajkot

Overall the college is good but expensive but the facilities provided by them are good and worth living in hostel with mess and good cultural and educational life to live in and a great campus with good quality of teachers and great coordination.

IIT JEE and scored 90 marks and chossed it because of engineering admissions and as it is compulsory to opt for this exam for admissions in engineering.

The curriculum is as per gtu and is a bit tough but the coordination is good so it is ok to cop up with it and the books available are reference books so need to choose it.

IFB, IBM, Google have been visiting our college that is vvp engineering college for general observations and for placements internships but those are generally provided by general local companies like jyoticnc etc.

10/120 students in the batches above us have were selected and have been placed in various local companies and by some huge and large multinational companies like google, jyoti CNC with average package of 5 lacs.

We have our tech feast which is conducted very well by our own college and which is well managed and maintained by the management and the students and other curricular activities are also available for students.

The college comes under gtu but the fee structure is too high as compared to other colleges and which is around one lac which is too expensive for everyone here and some minor discounts are also available for brilliant students.

Generally there is no scholarship available for general category studets but yes those scholarships available are available with high merit ranks and good marks in higher secondary school.

Gender ratio is 50-50 for male and female eery where and it is a approx one so not the final one but the college is with a very very strict environment for every student studing here and students with high economic status.

Hostel facility in the college is good with sufficient space and area and a good place to live within and good environment for study and good mess for meals with regular time.

Great coordination from seniors from all the seniors from all the departments in every possible way and being frankly with each other but need to be aware of other bad guys in the college for own safety and a weak alumini network available.

Labs were frequent for all the subjects related to me in my time table and yes enjoyable but too many exams are being conducted for the students before the final exam so it makes the sem too tedious due to which pressure increases.

The college faculties are good and marvellous and they teach in a very good and in english and the faculties are available in adequate quantity with the qualified ones amd they help during exam.
