Review of college

Ultimately culture, education and infrastructure is nice. The labs are equipped with many kind of machines, lab tutors are also so supportive, the cleanliness is upto the mark. Only one problem is that in monsoon the college gets flooded by water because college is at a little lower height.

Course curriculum is similar to curriculum of GTU and it is designed in such a way that all the areas of mechanical engineering are covered under it.There are two internal exams of 30 marks, one external exam of 70 marks and practical-viva exam of 50 marks.

Leading companies like L&T, Linde engg., Torrent power and such many more companies visit our campus for placement drive.Right now college is not providing internships, but they can provide internships in future.

UDAAN is our annual technocultural festival.In UDAAN so many technical events are organised by students, whole campus is decorated by students, the budget cum sponsorships are also arranged by students.Along with technical events, the cultural night, garba night also be there at night time and students of our college itself participate into that and showcase their extracurricular skills. GENESIS is our mini technocultural festival and it is similar to the UDAAN, only difference is GENESIS is at smaller scale than UDAAN.

Total fee is the sum of the tution fee, gymkhana fee, maintenance fee, fan fee, internet fees and such small things.I am a GIA student, so my fee is generally around 7000 rs per year.In odd semesters fees are in range of 5000 rs and in even semesters fees are in range of 1500-2000 rs.It is feasible for GIA students but for SFI students fees are around 1,15,000 rs per year.So i personally feel that for SFI students fees are not feasible.

I have not taken any scholarship from the college and I am not aware of any of it.Because most of the scholarships are not for the general category students and as I belong to general category, I don't take much interest in scholarships.

Extracurricular activities are held very oftenly so students can explore theirselves in terms of skills other than studying.The sports week is organised in college which is of a duration of one week.Which consist of sprots like Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball, Kabbadi, Athletics, Chess, Table Tennis, Carrom etc and many more.Other cultural activities are also be there in college for approximately 4-5 times a year.

Senior students are so supportive.They help in suggesting books, they solve our doubts, they guide us.They are generally behave as a friend.There is no case of ragging in our college.Alumni Association is taking care of every passout will be connected to the college after years from being passout.Alumni Association arrange reunion for the alumnis approximately once in a year.

By means of merit list declared by ACPC counting 40% of JEE exam and 60% of 12th board exam.I had fill the choice for the colleges and according to merit list declared by ACPC the college is alloted to me.

Faculties are brilliant and highly educated from the esteemed colleges like IITs and NITs and have thorough knowledge of their subjects.Their teaching skills are also good.Faculties supports being a guide for the project works of students.They are totally supportive in nature.
