Andhra University Engineering college.

college is good but the people here are worst.The administration is worst and makes you frustrated.No one here knows anything for sure.Teaching and non teaching staff are worst, though there are few good ones.

The course curriculum is one of the toughest but old,not at all updated to compete globally.The labs and infrastructure are very old (around 1990's), which then we're the most advanced. We don't study for the exams throughout the semester,just the night before exam day.Labs and exams are moderately tough but are very easy if one study everyday. The paper correction is very tough (literally you get marks for what you wrote).We just strive for marks ( that too a pass percentage).We do not hear anything about research ( because we don't do such things here),not much sophisticated labs here. Note:20 years before this is the best college in the state.The alumni is the only thing that brings you here.Search the web for our alumni. Note2: You have to study on your own,no one teaches or even guide you (cuz this is graduation) Our library is one of the largest among the country.

Internship is only for some branches which is computer science engineering.And the placements also follow the same.Most of the companies are software, they only recruit all brach students.We don't expect much from placements.Core companies for other branches are rare.BUT IT IS EASY TO GET A JOB IF YOU'RE GOOD AT ACADEMICS AND TRY A BIT.Some of the companies are WIPRO,INFOSYS,IBM,ITC which offer an annual package of 3.6LPA to 8LPA.

If you are one who enjoys tech fests and cultural fests often, sorry this college is not for you.But active members can organise and participate,whom we found very rare here.A very few people show interest in organising,so we don't see events often. NOTE: ATLEAST 5 (ALL COMBINED) EVENTS ARE CELEBRATED WHICH ARE ENOUGH TO MAKE ONE BUSY ALONG WITH THE CURRICULUM.

Most of the students get full fee reimbursement here, and scholarship too. I joined here with just INR9000 olny in the start.And i get yearly scholarship of around INR15000.REALLY! Otherwise your fee might be INR 10000 per year or INR 150000 per year.

As far as I know,no loans are offered on the fee.As the fee is just INR10000 per year otherwise it's INR 150000 per year. We get a scholarship of around 15000 per year from the governament,and some get an additional scholarship of 20000 per year from an organisation(not related to college).

Ragging is common in the first year after which it is totally reversed.Extracurricular activities are totally based on your interests.Most of the facilities are available here.Special mention - we have a gym here.

This is the best part of the college.I joined the college hostels.Though these hostels are not up to the mark.They are neat enough to stay and are the BEST environment for one to study. Provided with high-speed WiFi network, these hostels are cheap and best around here.The environment is clean and green everywhere.Though food is not so good, they maintain healthy standards much better than other hostels.They cost below and around INR 3000 per month for both food and stay,which is far better than the outside hostels of 4000 per month.

The alumni of our college is the main reason behind it's fame.Most of them are settled in foreign countries leading a happy life.The college produced many gems who excel in their field. Search on the web for them. Seniors are the ones who guide you all along here.

I wrote the common entrance exam (EAMCET) to all the engineering colleges of our state and got admission into this college which is considered as the top college of the state and one of the oldest University.I got admission by online counseling (preferring colleges in order of your choice online).

Anyone can become a faculty here if you know one.Complete your UG and PG in any lower college and come here and do a namesake PhD and become a PROFESSOR.One who teaches metallurgy teaches electronics, I mean the same one reaches two different never related subjects.Thats the scarce of teaching staff in the college.Some of the faculty are psychotic.I mean they love to torture students.They don't even know more than a freshman knows.An IIT student can easily surpass all our professors.SOME OF THE FACULTY ARE VERY GOOD ENOUGH AND KIND AND TEACHES NICE.
