Remarks
The college is good. Its need a reconstruction in infrastructure and labs. It should provide free wifi for students. It should recruit permanent faculty and give a practical approach of teaching. A lot of seminars and internships should be organized with help of association to accelerate student knowledge.
Course Curriculum Overview
It follows cbcs pattern. You have to appear in total of six semesters in three years. In first year you have to appear 4 core paper, 2 general elective paper and 2 aecc paper. In second year you have extra 2 more core paper. In third year you have 4 core paper and 4 dse paper only.
Placement Experience
Usually 10 companies attended last year job placement program. Not many students of this college go right away to jobs placement in college. Most of them prepare for government jobs and some of them go for post graduation.
College Events
There is generally one cultural event, one picnic and one sport event in a year. To take part in cultural event, you have to give auditions. Different types of seminars are organized by different departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. You have to give only one fees in a year. This fee includes all. Also there is a seminar fees in some department if you pay that seminar fees you will be eligible to borrow some book from seminar library.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are provided by government of odisha. It is given every year. You have to apply online to avail it. Some signature were required by the head of your department. Then if you become eligible then you will get the scholarship.
Campus Life
The labs are in need of a reconstruction. The extracurricular activities are essesy, debate, speeches in 3 different languages usually odia, hindi and English. Annual sport happen in every year. There is also a big field for cricket and football.
Alumni/Alumna
As far as I know we don't have a alumini club as of now. The senior student are helpful. They give us advices on our projects and seminars. They help us organising freshers party. They provide us books and sample materials.
Admission
I got admission at spot admission. In spot admission, you have to come on due date and review your 10th and 12th mark sheet to concern faculty. After reviewing all students, a merit list is published and I got admission there.
Faculty
There is a less amount of permanent faculty. How ever guest faculty are appointed to fill that void. The guest faculty are post graduated ones. The over all rating by guest faculty are 2. 5 out of 5. But the permanent one are 3 out of 5.
