My perspective on my college

Positive remark is that the college growing rate is very high, with respect to placements, teaching etc. But the infrastructure could be much more attractive, mobile phones are not allowed to the college, bike is also not allowed except some necessary situations. This is a main negative remarks.

There are 5 branches in engineering and mca, MBA is also there.All the branches have got good teaching faculties.Everyone supports you for your growth and similarly they restrict you in the domain where you may miss lead your life.Coming to the exams it will be as same as it is designed by vtu.Every instruction will be from vtu except not allowing mobile phones.

Placement are not at its best but I could say our college have got good placements.Our college will not provide any internships but faculty and placement officers will give you link of some company to gain our own internships.

There will be monthly events like inter department dancing, some tech fests will be held.24 hours workshops will be held once or twice a year, tech talk from resource person.Department fests and mahadasara which is our college fest which will be held in the month of February, that takes place a week.There will be flash mob, sports, stage performances, ethnic walk, many celebrities will be coming.

Apart from the cet fee, college fee should be paid, it's about 30k per year which includes bus facilities, library, internet, placements and etc.It is feasible.As the busses will be running throughout the year, it will pick up and drop you for your respective stops.The fee may appear as high but the for bus facilities and other benefits it is feasible amount.

Many scholarships are provided from the college.One of the best scholarship is if you are a topper of your branch in your year, then you will be given nearly 30k.Also some government scholarships are also available.There are various scholarships but I haven't got any, so I have less information about them.

There will be many cultural events, also from 2019 academic year they have planned monthly cultural events, which will be inter department competitions, flash mob etc.There will be project exhibition, department fests which includes many competitions.The sports will also be there from vtu also the college sports will also be there during mahadasara.

The seniors who are present are always not helpful.If you are close to them they will surely help you, guide you also speak to you.If not you will be the loser.So make as many friends among seniors, because it would be much helpful if you get a suggestion from a experienced senior.There will be no ragging and all, every senior will be friendly.

I got admitted to this college through KCET rankings.I got around 20k ranking in Kcet, so in option entry I got this college in all the 3 rounds.After that I made a visit to this college but got disappointed because it was in outskirts of Mysore.I enquired with the students who were present in college on that day.Got 60% positive response and 25% OK ok response but 15% negative response.But somehow got to know that college's placements are not so bad.So I decided to join this college.I think we were asked to get admit to respective colleges before June.So got admitted within the deadline.The process of admission is very easy and simple if you brought all the documents that were mentioned in cet brochure.Bring every documents also bring an extra copy of those, if not you could take a xerox at the store.There will be token system and when your turn comes you will be let inside principal cabin, where you will get his signature and further you will be assisted with some lecturers who guide you for further process.You could pay college fee apart from the cet fee.Then you will be given access to create your profile in our college gems database, so be ready with your email address.Finally once profile is created the process will be finished and you will become a student of MITMysore.

I can't say everyone is perfect but 80% of the faculties are best, they teach you, they support you, they guide you, and they will be a good friend for you.Most of the faculties are undergoing through their PhD work.There are very experienced faculty and also a young and charming faculty also.The head of the department are strict.Every teaching and non teaching faculty will support you to build your career, and also will be very friendly.
