Overall, College is good in terms of knowledge and academics but management can be better.

Yes, the curriculum provides enough knowledge related to the field. In fact, the foundation program is an added bonus as it somehow teaches students the process of thinking out of the box. Subjects like Indian Art History and Computer Application play an important role in expanding the students' minds and prepare them for whichever specialization they may choose.

Many cultural events are organized in our college including all major festivals like Diwali, Holi, Saraswati Pujan, Lohri, Christmas, etc. Apart from that Annual Carnival is held every year. Also, Graduation Show us another big event where the collections of graduating designers are showcased.

The fee structure is feasible enough as it is but when we add all the other expenses including materials and travel, it may be expensive for some people.

Yes, I received a scholarship during my first year for 10% of the fee. It was because I had marks more than 80% in XIIth standard.

We have an alumni cell and whenever the alumni visit the college, we always interact with them and hear their experiences.

I had applied for other design Institutes as well. Satyam Fashion Institute was one of them. I did not go through any interview or entrance exam as I had already cracked NIFT Entrance Exam. I could not go through with that due to place preference. I opted for this course because I was interested in Art and Fashion.

The faculty is knowledgeable and competent in imparting knowledge but the students also have to make an effort if they want to have a good portfolio.
