Remarks

There are 2 to 3 festivals in which College provides high funding, and in every festival, we were treated with good behaviour by our seniors. There is no ragging in our College due to its strict behaviour

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. Exam are held on the basis of CBCS(CHOICE BASED CREDIT SYSTEM) prescribed by Calcutta University. The College also take internal assessment exam at the time of CU Exams. And we have to do. Good on that to sit for CU exam.

College Events

Every year, the College conducts a grand fest, social, etc., in our auditorium. Every year, there were a sports event and a cultural event where all the faculty and students participated. Our College is free to give scholarships to economically backward students. Campus surroundings are great. The metro station is just 2 minutes away from our College. Besides, all the transport facilities are available till midnight.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very low and affordable for everyone one the College charged me around 2500 at the time of admission and it charge around same amount before each semester examination. If you calculate over all it will cost you around 20000 in three years.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't attend any fest conducted in the College yet, but seniors are saying that they will provide us with a huge fest. Jaipuria day section enjoys the parties and fest, so if you love parties, go to the day section.

Admission

I got admission in this College on merit basis. I scored 87% in my 12th examination from West Bengal board and filled up the form of evening batch of this College to get selected on merit basis and I got selected on first list.

Faculty

The College has three shifts; morning for girls, day for co-ed and evening for boys. The faculty members are very qualified and experienced. Their knowledge will definitely help you to achieve your goals. B. Com honours and general both are useful courses which can help you in future in many circumstances.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college. A Glimpse of Jaipuria

I applied to other colleges such as Goenka college of commerce, scottish church, maulana azad, and city college but I chose this college because its closer to my home and also it has a pretty good reputation over the curriculum i had chosen.
