My College My Pride

There is only positive things about the college. The Faculties, infrastructure, Course etc are very good. The ambience of the college is fantastic. Peaceful surroundings. Classes are well built. Eco-friendly, plastucs are banned in the college.

The college is affiliated to MG University (MGU).College functioning as per the rules and guidelines of MGU.Curriculum and Exam Structure are very good ( best when compared to other near universities).Job oriented Course Structure gives so many students to get employed just after completing their course.NAAC Accredited the College with A+ Grade on the basis of the Level of education, infrastructure and facilities.

There is placemet cell actively functioning within the college.The cell informs every students about the opportunities ahead.Last year there are 35+ students placed in banks.Just before the placements the cell provides coaching to surpass the placement and get the job.

There are lots of events celebrating every year in the College 1.St.Thomas Day 2.Sports Meet 3.Annual day celebration 4.Union inauguration 5.Christmas & Onam festival Celebration 6.Lots of activities & events done by different departments within their departments 7.Lots of Fests, ( In the commerce department, there is fest called " ComArena " All India Commerce fest.Students from different colleges around India, Compete in the program) 8.Different types of Awareness Class given to students which will be taken by Police officers, Doctors, Lawyers etc.

Very feasible.I completed the whole 3 year course for just around five thousand ( Iam a General Student ).Students having KPCR, have to pay less than thousand to complete the whole course.Students of SC/ST category didn't pay for exam fees and course fees.Fees Structure is very feasible for each and every students since they have to pay only what they can pay.

There are lot of scholarships provided by the college as well as Government to College students.Scholarships for Minority students Scholarships for Students opted for Hindi Scholarships for best student ( within the department) Scholarships for best student in the college Scholarships for handicapped students etc.

Sports Meet will be held every year.It is 2 day Meet.Athletics types sport events will completed within that 2 days.Football tournament & Cricket Tournament will last for one month.Activities :- NSS : most wonderful activity.Every year a 7 days camp for NSS students.The camp will be far from college and in the camp they given so many Awareness classes, Students either build house to poor person there or clean the nearest village where the camp situated.NCC ( Army ) this club helps students to be an Army officer by regular training methods.Training given by Army officers NCC ( Navy ) this one helps students to be Navy officer by providing Navy wing training methods.Training given by Naval Officers.Clubs :- Blood Bank ( different hospitals regularly reach the college for blood.Blood Bank forum will provide students to them ) ( Iam also donated blood to several person through the forum) Each and every department has clubs.There are lots of other clubs within the college.Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Microbiology, hotel management departments have labs.There are some more labs but i can't retrieve now.

I didn't opted for hostel since i can reach the college from my home within an hour travel.College hostel are very neat and clean.College hostel in situated within the boundaries of college, therefore students can reach easily to their classrooms from the hostel.They given all facilities within the hostel and college compound.They didn't need to go outside.Rentals are feasible.Very quality food is served to students.

Alumini are very helpul for the College and students.Alumini Members group together every year and to discuss about the needs of the college and the activities they can sponsor.Alumini association provides huge amount for infrastructure development as well as providing Scholarships for the brighter students.

I got the admission to BCom on merit basis.The marks decides admission of a student.There are reservation for SC/ST students and also reserved seat for the caste and management.This reservation helps all sort of students to get admission there and will be given the best education from there.

Faculties are very compassionate and hardworking.They always tries to push the students to achieve greater success.When we see their spirit of teaching, students automatically become better and brighter students.The faculties either taking the subject but also provides good manners to keep in our life, steps to be taken for securing future etc.They give more priority to their students life more than the course curriculum.There is lot to tell about them, simply they are great.
