You will not get a play ground in any of the NIFT centers and there is no much focused on the social works.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very impressive and you will go thorough all the required subjects of fashion in the curriculum and also the faculty are very experienced in the field of fashion and very co operative.

Internships Opportunities

It is also very impressive when you go for internship you will get the industry exposure durin your course curriculum and also u will get a average of 10K stipened as well and internship is the most important part of ur course choose wisely and make ur career accordingly.

Placement Experience

Nift organize all india placement in all most all the nift centres so u can seat for the placement in any of the nift centres in all over india except few centres and almost 100% palcement is there in nIFT.

College Events

Spectrum IT is a college festival it held in the month of February and its full of fun all type of event organised in these festival like sports, cultural, literature, fashion shows, fest, and many more converge It is intra centre competition which held in december after ending of semester in this event all the center comes in one center and participate in different type of events like sports, cultural, skits, dancing competition etc.

Yes u can get easy loan when u got admission in NIFT and also u will get scholarship from the nift as well as from the government.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

NIFT Chennai is great

OoFor us to get into NIFT there is a gat cat exam meaning general aptitude and creative aptitude. After clearing the exam you get into the studio test where a bunch of materials is given and topics, from the topics you choose one and make a model from the existing materials. Life of a design student

My main focus was to get into NIFT. But to keep options, in case I wasn't able to clear NIFT, I had applied for IIAD and UID as well. I am in a general category so I didn't get any quota. To appear for B.des in NIFT, you must pass STD Xll, any stream. The maximum age to apply for this programme is 23. The entrance exam is taken in 3 parts; One day, you'll have CAT (Creative Aptitude Test) and GAT (General Aptitude Test). In CAT there are questions to judge your creativity, you'll have the drawing part here. This paper will be for 3 hours. In GAT you'll have basic Maths, Reasoning, English and General Knowledge. This paper will be for 2 hours. Once you get shortlisted, you'll have to appear in the situation test. You'll get materials here, and you'll have to make a 3D model according to the question, and a write up explaining it. Once you get the final result, you'll get your rank and then will appear for counselling where you can choose the course and campus according to the availability of seats....Read More
