Remarks
Campus is really beautiful and is one of the finest in North India. And strictness in the campus is what I admire the most. One thing I don't like is uniforms. Although uniforms are good but a day should be made to let students wear casuals.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is amazing.It includes all the important aspects as required to become an engineer.Practical labs and online coding tests are taken on a regular basis.All the important subjects related to computer and programming are covered and experts are called to take classes of some batches.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good.Last year, reputed companies like Oyo gave package of near about 12 lakh, whereas Amazon offered 24 lpa.Many other companies also offered a handsome package.So job opportunities are good at Chitkara.
College Events
Two major fests are Rangrezz and Explore at Punjab Campus and Algorythm in Himachal Campus.Many other events and hackathons are organized.A mechanical event is also held every year.Participation is quite good by different colleges from various cities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is apt as according to resources and studies.My per semester fees is 80,000.During admission it was 88000 as it included security and other formalities.8000 separately are taken for college uniform.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a sibling concession which I know as of now.In this process, elder child gets 10% fees concession till the time he/she graduates, you just need to give a letter along with ID cards of both the siblings.Loan facility is also available.
Campus Life
Labs are well maintained and fully equipped.Sports area is too cool.There are large number of cultural and technical societies of each department.DJ nights are held on every occasion and many functions are organized on festivals.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are highly comfy.They help us a lot in each and every possible manner.Alumni meets are held oftenly in the campus.Seniors are really helpful and guide us a lot.They helped us a lot while we were in first year and made us confident
Admission
I had an option of B.Sc.from Stephen's College, Delhi.But I decided to choose engineering from Chitkara University since I was always interested in Computer and Technology.I had to go through a counselling for admission in Chitkara.
Faculty
Faculty is well educated and highly qualified to teach a course.Almost all of them hold a PhD in their specialization.They know all the details regarding to subjects.Secondly, they motivate students in every sphere of life.
