Remarks
There is a mixed rating about the college which is tending on the brighter side as the darker sides are much less than the brighter ones. The college holds a good reputation in the district of Midnapore and the college staffs and personnel and the students have just made the college a better place for education and research.
Course Curriculum Overview
The structure of the course is well distributed over a period of 3 years and a total of 6 semesters. There are 2 internal exams of 10 and 20 marks each and an endsemester exam of 40 marks for core subjects along with 20 marks of practical exam for every semester. The 10+20 internal marks is converted to 10 marks and 5 marks in attendance for every paper. For generic elective the marks distribution is same for chemistry but for maths the end semester marks is 60. For environment and English we have 75 and 50 marks each for the 1st 2 semesters which include project work and viva-voce
Placement Experience
The college offers dst fist, Jindal, boost, swami Vivekananda, meritcummeans, kanyasree, inspire and many other scholarships that help students a lot. People are working as researchers in Germany, USA, Britain and Italy at places like ISRO, DRDO, NASA after qualifying from the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very much feasible even for middle and lower class peoples that include registration fee of RS 50 admission charge of RS 2000 and an exam fee of RS 600 and each semester admission fee of RS 1000 that includes total of 2600+1600×5=10,600Rs of total for graduation.

The college offers a scholarship named smriti for students who are of poor class for their educational needs and accommodations. The college also offers state govt scholarships such as day fist, inspire, boost, meritcummeans, swami Vivekananda, Jindal and innumerable scholarships that are currently helping the students a lot.

Alumni/Alumna
Right now I am in the 2nd semester. didn't really had the chance of meeting an alumni. But from the senior students I had heard that the alumni association is very much active and takes part in most events of the college and are regularly responsible for major donations.
Admission
First of all I was really interested in studying physics. It has been my will to learn it over any subject since long. I was opting for the autonomous colleges in West Bengal near the Howrah Kolkata Medinipur region. I tried physics in all the missionary autonomous colleges but could only succeed in maths and chemistry. I had also taken registration in panskura college. Since I didn't get the opportunity to learn physics in any other autonomous college I decided to opt for a physics honors course in panskura Banamali college. First I registered in the admission portal. I had to wait 3-4 weeks until merit list was published and I finally took admission in the course.
Faculty
The Professors in the Physics department are qualified to a high level. 7 out of 8 teachers are PhD qualified. One of them has a post doctorate and the other professor is ongoing with his PhD. they teach us with utmost care and truly try to sort any problems that we face in academics.
