Remarks
The college is good in all the aspects. The faculty is good. Management is helpful. All the classes are air-conditioned rooms. Library is the best. But the college has no playground which is a bit of downside.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was a three years course. Exams were conducted on yearly basis. There was a IT project in the 2nd year and a entrepreneurship development project in 3rd year. The teacher's guide was always available. it helped me a lot.
Placement Experience
Placement is good. Amazon, Deloitte etc had come to the college. There it also many other big names which come to the college. This year highest package for bachelor of commerce went about 11 lakhs.
College Events
The college is famous for its events. The umang is the college years festival celebrated in the month of December. Umang is celebrated for 4 days and celebrities come to perform for umang. The passes are required to enter in the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
At the time of admission I paid about Rs 35000. It included the first year tution fee. And the next two years were also near that. The fee is paid in Federal bank. If you have any problem and cannot pay the free college also helps in that.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are a good student and have scored 90%+ in your plus two you will get scholarship. And if you have any problems paying the fees you can talk to the college management and they will help you. Loans facilities are not provided by the college.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is good. I don't know exactly but there is a good female to male ratio. The extracurricular activities are a lot. The game room has snooker, table tennis, basketball etc. Labs are also very good and sufficient.
Hostel Facilities
College does not have any hostel. But pg are available for the students. They are of different price range. Most students rent a flat for there stay. It is cheep if you share with 2-3 students. you can keep a masi for cooking.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college are some of the best. Sun pharma chairman Dilip shangwi, bipasha Basu, Pritam chakrabarty etc are some alumni. The alumni network is also good and you can join after passing from the college.
Admission
First I summited my application online. Then my name came in the 1st merit list. Then went to college and paid the fees and completed the process of admission. i choose the course bachelor of commerce as I was from commerce background and wanted to make my currier around it.
Faculty
Awesome faculty. I was in commerce and most of them were CA's and PhD. They were helpful in every way possible. They provide regular classes as well as remedial classes who could not attend the classes
