Remarks
I am proud to be in this college. It offers great opportunities, amazing staff and faculty, great infrastructure and a hell lot more. I have developed an attachment with this college because of its uniqueness and would suggest all to join it for a bright future all together.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is excellent. It is quite interesting and offers various options in the course. I have mass communication and journalism, cinematography, photography, videography, marketing, cyber security, script writing and a whole lot of things wrapped up into one. The examination structure is that of Makaut since it is under Makaut, but it is quite efficiently planned to not stress the students too much but at the same time prepare them efficiently.
Placement Experience
The placements are from topmost companies. There is in-campus recruitment where every student undergoes interviews from 12 companies and surely gets offered job by any one. The college itself doesnt offer any internship but encourages to take internships from internshala.
College Events
There are two types of fest which takes place and student from all departments participate. Apart from it there are sports competitions and many other event to encourage co-curricular activities as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible if the student is good in education and has good percentile previously in boards, lest he/she has to pay more since it is a private college. The students can however apply for scholarships which the college offers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers both loan and scholarship. It is not just based on merit but also on economic condition of the student. The student can also apply for loans which the college offers, like education loans.
Campus Life
There are football, cricket, basketball, rugby teams of both men and women separately. There are a variety of indoor games as well. There are weekly debate competitions, public speaking, etc. Students are encouraged to participate in various events be it sports or other co-curricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors or alumni are very helpful. There is no ragging which ever takes place in college and the seniors do offer a hell lot of advices and share notes apart from being friends and chilling out. The seniors has previous contacts as well and it is of great help later when you need those to flourish in this field.
Admission
My marks was reviewed and then I had to undergo and interview basis selection process. There were total 120 seats out of which students where shortlisted on basis of their board results and interview. General knowledge, basic details about the course I am pursuing, my interest in media science, etc were the few topics I would be marked on in the interview.
Faculty
The faculty includes the top most professionals from this field, who not just teach us but also inspires us and shows us a real tale on this real world with all the ups and downs they faced choosing this career, since the way they struggled here because of the promising future this course and line offers.
