This is the best women's college in the state promoting women's empowerment as well as education. The college inculcate the sense of discipline as well as leadership among the students, exams are conducted in a fair manner.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I am persuing from this college comes under a vocational course, here the faculties are very experienced and sorted, the course structure is very good with a focus on experimental and practical studies.The exams are conducted on time as well.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are quite low in my college also it doesn't provide internship.Being a semi-government college it trains and educate the students in every aspect but in case of placement the cell do visits the college but not in large numbers.
College Events
The college celebrates all the national festival like Independence day, Republic day,Gandhi jayanti as well as the other festivals like Holi, diwali, Christmas are also celebrated also all the college fests like Sawan fest, freshers, farewell etc are celebrated where both teachers and students show their interest and support with active participation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is no doubt feasible, lowest among the other good colleges in our locality, the low fee structure is another thing making this college a good one, so that the poor women can also educate themselves, whether vocational or general both the courses have a low fee structure with a quality education.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided to BPL students as well as their is a system of providing scholarship to the backward cast students, so that the students from poor families could also study in the college without a tension of fees etc, since it is a girl's college so providing such scholarship to women is also a great step towards women empowerment and educating girl child.
Campus Life
My college conducts sports day every year in the month of December, as well as youth festival is also held, there are various competitions like Rangoli designs, dance etc.are conducted, student's union elections are held along with trees plantation, and swatchta abhiyan etc.to inculcate the sense of responsibility and discipline among students.
Hostel Facilities
No I am not living in the campus hostel but many of my friends live in the campus hostel of Ranchi Women's College, there are about 4-5 hostels in both the campus, the hostels include a female warden as well as all the facilities what a student should get living in a hostel and all that in a low cost.
Alumni/Alumna
I have always found my seniors helpful and kind with their juniors and they never bully or do ragging either in or outside the campus.Not only because of the presence of the anti ragging cell but because their own morals.
Admission
I got admission after qualifying the entrance exam.After the declaration of results, I found my name in merit list, after that I went for my admission.The procedure of admission goes on in a very smooth and fair manner.
Faculty
The faculties in my college are well trained, experienced as well as sorted, they understand a student's point of view and prevent the generation gap in between,they are highly qualified professionals.
