It's a degree college. Here We get the Full time Graduation degree,not the placement. Its not a technical college where u study diploma or B tech or it I,where the companies will come and give you job when the degree is done

The college provides scholarship to the meritorious students. it depends on your ability. How meritorious you are. If You are good enough the college and the university will give you scholarship. I don't know much about the loan facility.

The extracurricular activities are up to the mark. Our college provides equipment for all kinds of indoor and outdoor sports. And not only the sports,Our college promotes and organize cultural activities such as singing, dancing among the students
Hostel Facilities
I didn't opt for the hostels since my house was not very far from the college. Usually the local students get admission here in this reputed college but There are few apartments available for rent for the students just behind our college campus
Alumni/Alumna
Our seniors have always been very friendly and helpful to us. When I was the students, whenever we needed them the stood beside us. They we're as good as one could think off. You wouldn't get to see anything scrupulous done by our seniors.

I have always been very attracted towards English subject and who won't grab the opportunity to seal your spot in the Iconic "Durgapur Govt. College" in English Honours department and one more thing I would like to tell you that Durgapur govt college is the best college in West Bengal
Faculty
The Faculties are just Outstanding. All the teachers are very friendly. They made us feel as if we're not just their students but we are their friends too. They teach you in such a light way that you always desired.
