Talking about remarks, placement are very good. Starting from ?1,15,000 per year to service companies like cognizant, wipro, Infosys are recruiting us. And talking about infrastructure, they are improving more and more.
Course Curriculum Overview
8 semesters, 3 internals per sem. And there will be a unit test, assignments parallelly. You have to score minimum 50% to get pass in every internals. For clearing a course it is necessary to obtain good internal marks. That will help to get good academic scores.
Placement Experience
Yes, they provide internship. I got placed in cognizant technology solutions currently am doing my internship there with a stipend of ?12,000. My college is good at placement. Around 100+ companies starting from our third year recruitment process will take place.
College Events
We celebrate each and every festivals here. Pongal, women's day, Christmas, oonam. Oonam and Pongal celebrations are special. We celebrate it with a big bang! Other than that Dhruva is there our biggest cultural event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. For hostel am paying ?65,000 per year and for my academic ?77,000. You can pay the hostel fees two times by separating it half. For management iam not sure about that. Am from counseling so am paying 77k per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship differs for all. Depends on where they stay if hosteller means they will provide upto 8,000 per year. If days scholar means upto 4,000 per year. Loan we can apply separately through banking sectors.
Campus Life
There are separate labs for each courses. Labs are good, practical sessions are available once in a week. It's more helpful. And talking about extra curricular activities there are table tennis, cricket, badminton, chess are there.
Alumni/Alumna
There will be an alumni meet atleast thrice in a year. It will be helpful to communicate with them to understand better about how the outside business world will be. They are our good guidence. Helpful to hear from them.
Admission
I came through counseling to karpagam College of engineering. I got 86% and that made me easily to get into the college. I chose electronic and instrumentation engineering because of my own interest. People said this college is best for placement oriented things so I prefer karpagam College over the other.
Faculty
I think I'm blessed with that. I don't know about others but for me personally, my staffs were good enough. They taught me so many things. They were available at any time to clear your doubts rather than libraries also my good teacher.
