My start of medical career

Overall good college. Faculty can be improved also the administration staff is bit slow but ok. Campus is also very good and calm and green place. Our teacher are good. The hospital can be improved. There is do much rush there.

Mbbs is but hectic course. We have classes from 9 in mrng till 4. and labs included 2-4 in afternoon. We have total 9 semesters and 4and half year course. Mbbs is a good and respected course after it you can pursue pg and become specific doctor Or could go in research also.

There are no placement in mbbs. After our 4 and half year course. We have to do intership for one year. We can do it outside or in our hospital also. We get 7500 in it. Per month. And gain our medical working experience after it our mbbs degree is valid.

We have our annual event named crescendo. That includes the sports literary as weel as the cultural events. All students participate in it and also it is all managed by students only. We also celebrate official festival.

Our fees is feasible because it is govt college. Without bond it is 4 lakh and with 3 year bond it is about 80000 per year. All included hostel and mess fees. Now government has removed the bond and it is 4 lakh only.

There are no loans or scholarship facility in this college. U have to get seat via exam and give the fees. There is quota system but no scholarship as such. Our topper do get some reward by our teachers but that is unofficial.

We our 50:50 male female in our batch. We do have sports teams and event's. We also have various workshops of different subjects in which many colleges participating. We have college level and state level quiz also.

Hostel is compulsory in mbbs we have quite good hostel separate for each year students. Girls boys separated. We share room in 1 st and 2 nd year then we have single room after that. Good atmosphere and clean place. Fees included inoverall fee.

Our college seniors are very helpful. They guide us through all the years course and important question and what to study fir exam and various medical procedures they had learned. They took ragging in 1 st year but that was good.

I got mbbs seat via neet exam held every year. I gave that entrance exam after my 12th and got 72 rank and from state counselling i got seat in haldwani then i went there complete the admission process.

Our faculty is very good. All are mbbs doctors working in hospital as well as teaching us all. Hardworking and dedicated. They teach us all the medical procedures and devote themselves. They are strict too.
