Remarks

I just had one complain during my time, but now the rules have changed and it's good now. So based on the current situation I m happy with the rules and everything. Just one thing, they should look after the greenery a little, as there are less trees and more of buildings.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is good. Infact I found my college really good in terms of studies, as they were quite strict,so everyone had to focus on studies and it's nothing like hectic and all. It's actually good and chilled in terms of exam point of view. sometimes it was tough but that's all worth it. Exams structures were also described well and the lab were based on schedule. in few semesters I felt that Labs were less but overall it was ok.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements and job opportunities were actually good. And they really work hard for all students to get placed. They conducted special classes for students who didn't get placed. And even after you get passed out you can go and sit for placements next year. I joined this college as my brother studied from this college and he knew it's good for placements and job opportunities are there. No, they don't provide internships.

College Events

3

Well our college used to organize 4 major events and few random and uncertain events used to held. 1. Femfest - It's celebrated in Feb month and it's especially for girls. Boys are not allowed in this event and it's the biggest event of our college. Here celebrity guests come from film industry(like- late Sri Devi mam, Madhuri Dixit, Sehwag, Gambhir and many more ). This is a 2 day event during day students can put there stalls and few stalls come from outside as planned by our director mam. And students (girls) are allowed to roam anywhere in the campus, and we could use our phones too for these 2 days. During day we can enjoy the stalls and the market and during night there are some performances like dance, ramp walk musical nights. 2. Culturals- this is 1day event and in this also some celebrity singer (Udit Narayan, Usha, many more ) comes and we have musical nights. And like femfest stalls and everything are there. 3. Technosummit- it's a 2 day event and it has science exhibitions, workshops, and events are there, all of these are related to study and science. robo expo, robo fight, robo race, competition are also there, based on maths, science. In workshops they used to teach how to make robo. Professionals come to give workshops and students can even practice in lab classes. Its really an innovative event. 4- Expo- it was just like other bike and car expo around.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I was studying it was feasible, but they are increasing there fees every year and not it's expensive according to me. When my brother studied it was 97,500 per year. (till 2012) When I took admission it was 120,000 per year. (2013) And after 2013 they used to increase the fees every year and currently I guess its around 2. 5 lacs per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The exam conducted by the college is one way for scholarship if you get good marks then you are offered scholarships. And the way is by your state government scholarship program offered by the government of the state you belong to. And you can submit the paper work and avail that scholarship. For loans it's just the same procedure as other colleges offers. I didn't took loan,so I don't know much about it but you can get the paperwork done in administration office and submit it in the bank.

Campus Life

3.5

There are different clubs based on different goals like Rotrary club, English club, maths club, Robotics club, and many more clubs were there I just remember the ones I was a part of and NCC, IEEE, media groups are also there. Students were asked to join any 2 clubs or groups in the 1st yr and later they can join more clubs too. Each club used to conduct some events or activities all the time. Girl students used to get a little more importance in the college that was good.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes I did opt for hostel for 1year. It was sharing. In one room there were 7 beds and it wasn't that good bcoz there were no lockers inside and we were not allowed to have phones that time. but now it's allowed. 40k per year was the fee in 2013. now I guess it's around 60k per year. Talking about the infrastructure then it's good now they have basketball ground, and nrmal playground too for playing badminton or anything. There are 2 bathrooms in each room and each bathroom is quite big( u can put 1 bed inside it very easily). Theres one mess in each hostel. There's one hall with mirror on one the walls of that hall on each floor. for dance rehearsals or used as a place to study.

Alumni/Alumna

As my college was quite strict, so there were no ragging in our college. and our seniors were quite helpful. It was a nice experience as they all were very sweet and no one had that mindset of showing juniors low or something. They used to help us in every way possible.

Admission

I gave the entrance exam conducted by the college, and based on the results I got the admission in electronics and telecommunication engineering branch. If anyone wants different branch then they can ask for the availability of seats. If the seat is available then they can choose that branch. If there's no seat available then there's no way you can get in that branch but later you can switch to different branch as the studies in 1st year of engineering is same for all branches. Fir this you have to do a little effort and in some cases you have to clear exams as well.

Faculty

4

About Faculties I would say that all of them are qualified and they knew the right way of teaching their students. They knew how to deal with bunch of different mindset students. I loved the way my HOD used to teach. he was one of my favorite teachers. But just like in every institution there are few Faculties who are not good in teaching. But overall it was good as I never got any back in any subjects during my course.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.
