Padmaja's Review On Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College - [SVEC], Tirupati

Our college is situated in a very serene place, the foot of Tirumala hills. It is far away from the city's pollution. There are frequent transport facilities available from and to the college. The college looks very beautiful with the greenery.

The course structure is very good, the right subjects to learn at the right year. There are labs for 5 days a week and they are very interesting. The days were neither hectic nor chilled. We had chemistry, physics, programming, Information Technology, Engineering Drawing, Mechanical engineering labs. And every day was a new venture.

There were many campus recruitment drives from various multi national companies. All the students were given equal opportunities to get in to those drives. Trainings were given to all the students to develop the necessary skills like technical communication, aptitude and technical skills required to qualify for the job offered by those companies.

Every year a techno cultural fest called Mohan Mantra will be conducted. Students from other colleges actively take part. There were presentations, workshops for enabling technical skills. Dance, singing and painting competitions for enabling art. Apart from these there are fun activities too. Every year annual day celebrations will take place where many prominent person from cine field and technical field were invited as guests. Also blood donation camp will be conducted every year.

Fee Structure is common for all the students. But based on the rank secured and economic status fees can be reimbursed. There were many students who claimed entire fees as reimbursement. Reimbursement is available for students whose admission is based on EAMCET.

To mention of extra curricular activities, students will have keen interest in short film making, acting and dance. Dance performance on annual day celebration will be very joyful. Skit performances were also there.

Alumni association takes place every year and every alumni's journey teaches us a new thing. Their experience is a new lesson for the students. Seniors help juniors in many ways. Many of the alumni have been graduated from esteemed institution in the US and other parts of the world.

I wrote EAMCET ( Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test) conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh and secured a decent rank. I got a seat for Computer science and engineering course. I preferred to choose computer science and engineering because of my interest in coding.

Our faculty were very well qualified to take theory as well as practical classes. They were very keen to give the best of their knowledge to us. They not only taught us the subject but also nurtured competitive spirit among the students which prompted Students to prove themselves in various aspects.
