IIT Hyderabad Future best IIT.

I took GATE-2010. I have scored GATE rank of 823 with score around 650. I also got signal processing seat in IIT Guwahti . But later IIT Hyderabad people offered Microelectronics and VLSI. As, VLSI stream is most competitive and AP is my native state, I have opted for IIT Hyderabad. I enquired about lab facility, library and faculty. Got a positive response. So I joined here.

Course curriculum is good. I cannot say "The Best". Because, curriculum should be improved to wards industry work. The theory should be helpful in industry. Such a thing is happening very less. More of project work should be there . Intern ships will be more helpful.

The college provides stipend. It is around 800/ per month for the students who cleared GATE. The stipend will come every month regularly. Stipend will depend on TA( Teaching Assistance). The students should guide Btech students regarding their studies, Internal exams, setting question papers, correcting them, conducting exams. This work will be assigned by the students guides. At the end of the month, we should get signed our stipend approval sheet with the guide and submit them to Office clerk. Then we will be getting the stipend.

Placements are good and companies compete to choose the candidates with good packages Almost 95% of my batch got placed in some or the other companies some in electronics and some in software. We had many college events, Debates, Cultural fests, Technical Talks and many more events . Some of them which i remember am including:Tech Fest, Quiz for all the campus students, Motivational Talks, General Debates, Tech Sessions from professors of other IITs or NITs. Fun 2011 Cultiural Festivals Elan 2012.

The fee structure is reasonable unlike the other private colleges. We have to pay 30k per semester which includes the hostel fee as well. There will not be any other monthly fee other than this. It is much feasible than most of the other private colleges and universities. As this fee includes hostel fee also ,i feel its very feasible even for an average family to pay.

There is no scholarship offered but there is stipend to all the PG students and interns and research scholars. Apart from these college also provide bank loans for the students of backwardclasses. Also college sponsors for the students who attends for IEEE paper conferences and also forthe students who wish to present their conference papers abroadNote that college sponsors only for the students whose papers are selected for internationalconferences and for famous boards like IEEE, ISSSC Etc.

Gender ratio is very poor. Very few girls will be there here similar to many IITs. Its a campus where one can gain enough knowledge. Unlike the other colleges it don't have any groups and disputes or regional gangs or feelings or disputes. Almost all the students in the college are well decent and their main motto is to have good knowledge on their studies.There is no racial discrimination even by the staff. The best thing is that there are no politics in the campus. If any student is found to be misbehaved or reason for any dispute he /she will be suspended for afew days which is obviously a bad remark in their conduct certificate.

The hostel rooms are very good and thefood is not so good.You love the hostel.Its very hygienic and they provide a very good healthy and hygienic food.There are 2 sharing rooms in hostel and as the hostel seats will be provided to all the admittedcandida

Our Alumni network is good. There are some seniors who are still in contact with us.Wehad decent guidance from our seniors,which helped us during the assignments, anyactivities,placements. College will conduct alumni meet every year where we will get a chance tomeet a few of them at least. Personally i feel its good to have contacts with your seniors through outyour life.We even got lot of study materials related to our course from them which is reallyhelpful.

One main thing is we have open book exam also for some courses. The exam schedules are very well designed and even the lab infrastructure is really verygood. That too in electronics field its very important to have a good laboratory where we can get some
