Remarks

Now a days, competition is too high so students who are going to study are extremely talented so government need to take steps for their bright future. government need to give all the world class learning education facilities so students can become something well.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

course curriculam was as per the university GTU norms quite good. two exams were there first at mid semester and second at the end of the semester. course structure as per my personal experience was not up to the mark because course was old. exams were good although. labs were not regular always as it is government college.

Placement Experience

1

if i talk about my final year. i feel ashamed to say that placement cell was the only NAME of the department. NO review process, no personal training advantages. even colleges have to provide students internships, but there was nothing kind of that. i remember very well 2 or 3 companies had arrived for placement. stipends were somehow 8000 INR per month.

College Events

2.5

events are celebrating in every colleges. there were freshers party, mid term technical fairs, food court competitons, sports week etc. every year among all government colleges one college hosts 3 or 4 day cultural and technical youth events where students are going to participate in wide range. where students participate in management level programs, debates, variety of engineering events, fun elections. every government colleges took part into it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

as it was government college fee was low as compared to private colleges 6000 indian rupee per year and for full course it becomes 24K. for girls government gives subsidise so they need to submit half of it. so it was 3000 per year and 12K for four years of engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

Reserved candidates of SC ST OBC get scholarship by government for the tuition fees and for living expenditure. they get yearly 6000 rupee as scholarships. there was no loan facility for students. Government should also focus on scholarship programs as other universities and foreign universities offer to students for engineering projects and their technical practical education.

Campus Life

4.5

As colleges are continuously hosting extracurricular activities students are eagerly waiting for these kind of opportunities like science fairs, sports week, inter college cricket tournaments, lab yards etc. gender ratios are very crucial in core branches ratio boys to girls was 8:2. workshops were quite average. there was zero tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics.

Alumni/Alumna

alumni network would have been more better because as it was government college staff sorting is big problem still so management was somehow dull. seniors were extremely talented and helpful by every step.

Admission

i got admission on the basis of 12th grade merit. i always wanted to work in electrical field area. so it made me choose to grab chance from government college. because government colleges have well experienced staffs & professors. admission process was simple as you need to submit your original documents on the basis of your 12th grade merit.

Faculty

2

faculties are talented no doubt but they were irregular i can not understand why but yes that was bitter truth. they all are qualified with PhD degrees & masters in engineering. as we see staffs and professors are working regular & punctual in private colleges here it was completely different, i think government should take strict actions.

There is no major problem in the curriculum regarding to the course. The curriculum covers almost all major real-world applications. But, the there is so much detailed and compulsive study on techniques that are not even used in today's time.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.
