Place to learn and grow

The college is good if academics are considered. Getting exposure is quite a difficult task here. If you are looking forward to doing B. Tech here, I will suggest you do not take any of the core branches as the placements are not very great for these branches. Rest all is good.

The course structure is like they focus more on academics. The practicals along with the lectures together become very hectic. You will constantly be occupied with the exams. The exams are like you will have 2 sessional tests, 1 pre University test, and final semester exams.

The placements are moderate. The highest placement offered by any of the companies may go as high as 6 LPA. Students must not only rely on college for getting placed. For internships, our college provides training courses in the summers. Anyone who wishes can join those courses.

The events celebrated in our college are the cultural fest and the technical fest. The cultural fest is named VIBGYOR. Every year in the month of March, this fest is celebrated and people from other colleges too come and perform here. The technical fest TECHNOVATION is conducted every year in the month of September. Students from school come and visit this.

The fee structure is between 1 lakh to 2 lakh per year. It is variable every year. It generally doesn't go beyond 1. 5 lakh. The additional fee of 7500 is to be paid for the university examinations. Students also get scholarships under certain conditions.

I did not opt for any of the scholarships. But there are scholarships for people fulfilling certain income conditions. So they can opt for that. And I do not have much knowledge about loans. But students do study taking loans.

Talking about the extracurriculars, my college has been one of the leading colleges in sports. As far as diversity is concerned, people from different regions of Uttar Pradesh come and take admission here. The gender ratio if I say is like every other engineering college. There are some branches too like mechanical and civil where you cannot find a single girl. There are societies for different cultural activities. Students participate infests and even perform in other colleges. As far as politics is concerned, there is no role of politics here.

Hostel facility is good in this College. It is quite disciplined. There are a good number of rooms available. So you need not worry if rooms will get filled or not. The sharing is of two people per room. The mess facility is also good. The quality of food is satisfactory.

Seniors are someone whom you will have to rely on. They are the ones who will help you out in everything you do. From your personal to professional life, they are the ones that will guide you in everything in your college time.

I always wanted to opt for this course that is Bachelor of Technology. There were other options too like Bachelor of computer applications and Bachelor of business administration but I opted for B. Tech through the engineering entrance exam as this was the only course I wanted to opt for.

The faculty of the college is well qualified. Faculty assigned to a particular subject have apt knowledge and interest in teaching. They work very hard and provide us notes too. Some of them are supportive and help students out.
