Review of Graphic Era University, Dehradun

Excellent placement/internship opportunities for undergraduates as well as postgraduates. Great atmosphere with greenery all around. Fully fledged classrooms, library and laboratories with huge array of courses to choise from.

In my BBA course we had 6 semester, internship after 4 semester in which college provides opportunity for you and also agrees on you getting one on your own. Curriculum was a mix of classroom tutorials and project based with recurring events based on your course.

Placements were immense and a huge array to choose from, companies like Adobe, infosys, deloitte comes every year for placement as of my course concentrix, IRSPL, Times if India, Sage publishing, Tommy Hilfiger and many more came in with a package of 3-5 lakhs per annum for an undergraduate with is commendable.

There are many fest being organized the annual Grafest is one of the major fest and during every cultural festival there is another small fest organized so our college focuses on these events immensely.

Very feasible, to the localite of dehradun there's extra discount. With high tech and state-of-the art laboratories to work and learn in its a great college to be in. Fee is in a ballpark of 1 lakh for the Flagship B. Tech course with comes down to 70,000 for the locals.

One such incident happen which I've heard of from my teachers was that our chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala waived off the entire course fee of a girl student whose father had a financial crunch and wasn't able to submit the fee, her father came to college to ask for a extended duration for submission of fee but to his surprise our chairmen waived off, plus he gives discount in fee to the locals of Uttarakhand state to study in prestigious Graphic Era Hill University same course but less fee.

Extra curricular activities are amazing, lots of opportunities comes around your way not only to participate in but also to host an event, the annual Grafest is one of the biggest college fest around the state at par with Thomso histed by IIT Roorkee. Lots amd lots of opportunities.

No i am a localite so i didn't opt for hostel but few of my friend who were in hostel recommend it, they say the rooms are great the environment is great has spacious rooms and balcony only downside is food which is satisfactory and not that great.

Many of my relatives have studied here so I've been in touch with them all giving positive remarks, seniors are extremely helpful and indulgent. College also hostes annual alumni meet not only in Dehradun but outside it as well in other cities.

The admission is based on merit list amd after that a brief interview, its a private university so not so tough to get enrolled into. But the best in Dehradun and one of the best in whole state. Its a short interview in which they also brief you about college itself and about fee structure.

Great faculty with a lot of experience our head of department is IIM alumni, our vice chancellor again is a highly skilled, one of the usp of our college is that oir chairmen not only owns and runs the college but also teaches to the btech scholars so you have a chance to obtain wisdom from him.
