University is located to far from main transport cost is high. Due. to market distance all good are expensive near university. Shop inside university charge high rate for photo copy. But talking about positive point well infrastructure ac class room, comfortable seat.
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about course curriculum,I think university have added some useless subject in their curriculum such as moral science, Dynamic paradigm, Foreign language only for single semester. and rest you will have Java,c,python,sql,data structure and some recent technology subject such as iot,cloud computing etc. Overall from my point of view it is average.
Placement Experience
As i am a computer science student, Multiple mnc have visited my college in 2018. Some big names are wipro,infosis,directx,cvent,sapient, Naukri. com, Cognizant. and almost all the noida based small company also visited my campus for hiring like fluper,e2e, Optimus, vector. Talking about average salary it is 3 lpa.
College Events
Our university have different club based on ur interest such as dance club,drama club,debate club and so on. Galgotias feast is the event which is celebrated every year then we have fresher party for newly join mates then convocation and farewell party for passed out seniors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very expensive. At my time it was 1. 60lpa. Also back and debared form is also costly. for back it is 500 and for debared it is 2300. Hostel fee is separate from ur college fee which is costing around 75 for double sharing cooler nd 85 for double sharing ac.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you have scored good marks in GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY entrance xam then you are eligible for around 5-10 percent scholarship on college fee and talking about loan I don't have idea about loan. Or if you have to taken loan then you can take loan from any national or standardised bank.
Campus Life
There is some internal party organise my GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY students union. Various club are there to participate in various event. pc games event are alos organisated by xorw team member. Or there is no sceene of any elections or students Union type of thing is not there. Ragging is strictly prohibited
Hostel Facilities
I have opted hostel only for 1 year when i was in my 1 st year. Room my good but bed was uncomfortable. Almirah was small and lock can be easily breakable. Food was not upto mark that time and there was no free wifi provided in the room you have to pay for wifi. Rooms are only able as double sharing cooler or ac but if u have cooler room they didn't provide us cooler at that time.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY have it fb pg to connect with senior or u can use other social media platform. Even some seniors come to university to clear our dought about placement. Galgotia also collect info about passout students. So you can also ask some seniors faculty for their help to connect with them
Admission
I have appeared in GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY entrance exam. I have chosen Computer Science because placement is high in that course other then courses offer in talking about year in which i got my placement it was 90 percent from cse couse compare to other courses.
Faculty
Most of the faculty are just mtech passed out or some are doing phd. Some faculty have good knowledge of their subjects but most of the faculty have bookish knowledge and even they teaches us from taking reference from YouTube channel. If you are expecting they are able to solve ur gate level dought but sorry to say that they cannt.
