NIET one of the best private engineering college in Delhi NCR

It's a good college with good faculty and a good future. Extracurricular facilities are a little bit less, sometimes students feel suffocated by the studies but overall college is having a good environment and motivating atmosphere.

We have classes from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Although the schedule is a bit hectic course is designed in such a way that we don't feel much pressure. We have monthly tests and have exams every six months based on the university pattern.

In NIET jobs and placements are above 95%. Many MNC's come for campus drives. College provides many training sessions for the placement of a student. Companies like Amazon, Voltas, Truechip, TCS, Tech Mahindra are one of the top recruiters of the College.

NIET mostly focuses on the studies of the students. Farewell, Freshers are celebrated with great fun on the campus only. Technical fests yearly also take place in the college in which students participate actively.

The fee structure of the College is very feasible if we compare it with other private engineering colleges. Btech fees for BTech 1 year are approx 1. 4 LPA and for 2,3,4 years it's 1 LPA approx. Students can also pay the fees in installments if needed by getting permission from the director.

No scholarship facility neither loan facility is provided by the college. Students have to manage it on their own by certain banks or any other option. College doesn't provide any help in this matter.

NIET has maintained a well-equipped laboratory for all the subjects. Other than that College also provides equipment for the projects which students want to do. Sports in college are based on the interest of the students, college doesn't support many sports.

The hostel of NIET is average. It has 3 seater room for the students with an option of an attached washroom or common washroom. A common area with TV is provided for entertainment purposes. No other facilities are provided by the management of the hostel.

In NIET juniors are not much interacted with seniors due to the rules and regulations of the College. But still, after 2 years of college seniors help juniors whenever they need it. The environment of the College is very healthy. Everyone is very helpful.

Admission to NIET for the B.tech course is based on an entrance test and a general interview. It also takes admission on the basis of rank in the state government entrance test for engineering. We have many branches to opt for the BTech course like CSE, IT, ECE, EN, Civil, etc.

All faculty of NIET are highly qualified. Professors are always there to help students. All professors always encourage students to explore and share all the experiences they have. Motivational lectures are also taken by some speakers.
