Mohit Kapadia's Review On Oriental Institute Of Science And Technology - [OIST], Bhopal

I had given MPPET entrance exam and obtained 90 marks out of 200.

I am always interested in computer and I had luck that I got oriental institute of Science and technology bhopal with computer science branch.

In the month of September tata consultancy services was first it company which was day first company. Then tech Mahindra,defodill,enoeye,musigma,persistent,infoysis, wipro etc. I am selected in tata consultancy services as assistant system engineer.

There are 25-30 companies came in my college and 260 students are placed in tata consultancy services. Which is highest placement record in Mp upto 2015 batch. I am also selected in tata consultancy services. At the end of session approx 700 students are placed in different companies.

My college is organise annual festival in the month of October. In the tech fest there are many events,workshops, games and other cultures events. I had participate in mania and cricket match.

If you are looking for world class facilities and the ability to use them, you have come to the right place. OIST has very good lab facilities and students are encouraged to use them as much as they can for projects (there's a caveat here which i'll get to later) and other non-curricular activities. OIST is increasingly orienting itself to a more research focused college with CoE's and other interesting lab facilities coming up all over campus. There's also a conscious shift of focus from purely academic subjects to more research based learning. The experiment is in its initial stages and may yet fail,but its a step in the right direction.

There are four hostel in my college two girls hostel and two boys hostel. In hostel each student has it's own separate room. My college does charge for hostel 5000 Rs per month. But the food of my mess is good.

I think everyone should have knowledge of the basics of our educational history and system because after all we are a part of it. In order to be able to critique the system in which you live,you should be able to know its foundation. Further education (and how it works and functions) is such a huge issue today that studying it is incredibly relevant. How have Education courses at Bates foster your interest in education?The courses have shown me a variety of sides to the issues and history of education. I have been able to go in to the classrooms and see our class discussions come to life. Being a part of the Education Department at Bates has made me realize how important education really is and that it is something I want to be a part of for a very long time. Describe your work with professors in the Education Department. They are very accessible and approachable and always open to conversation about current events or what is going on in the classroom. I find the education professors very relatable yet obviously quite knowledgeable on their field of study and excellent resources of which to take advantage. They have challenged me in many ways and these challenges,though difficult at the time,were ultimately incredibly rewarding and I am better off for them in the end.

My faculties are best faculties for this stream.
