Review of my college

Good remark are good faculties nice management. Bad remarks SJBIT doesnt feature amongst the top 10 engineering colleges in Bangalore but can be preferred somewhere amongst the first few of 11th

I took KCET ( karnataka common entrance test ). I got 6000 rank all over karnataka. Since my brother studied in the same college it made me to join that college after hearing some positive review from my brother.

SJB institute of technology is well known for excellent faculties so it made me to assess course curriculum in time they only prepare time table and give to students if we ask how to manage the time so faculties are very student friendly.

As of now there are no internships provided from college side we need to depend on outside for internships. This is the only drawback of this college but they give enough training so that we can easily get internships outside.

Since i am studying in CS department sjbit is well known for highest number of placement's from CS department. Apart from CS department even IS students also get placed more. The famous well known companies which visit's are TCS,Wipro,Accenture,Bosch, Kirloskar,Mindtree etc. The average package is around 3.5 lakhs. Highest packed till today is 7 lakhs per annum.

Varchasva Dyuti Tech-quest Elishia. Depertment of EEE is up with their techno-cultural event called dyuti which has just finished its second season. Depertment of CS conduct's TECH-QUEST with various events more for programmers. College fest named as VARCHASVA it is the biggest fest which helds for 2 days more actors heros will come to inaugurate.

Coming to fee structure the college fee is little high expensive and you should keep your pocket money with you because for every single mistake you need to pay fine which is quite common in SJBIT. For Karnataka CET students fee 36,090+30000(college fee) per year for UGET (COMEDK) students Rs 1.25L per year.

Coming to scholarships they are very supportive towards students. From every department the top 3 toppers will get their college fee back as the scholarship amount i.e 30000 which is quite more. Even i got once that in 2nd year.

Their is strict rules that no girl and boy should sit together in class room they should sit separately. Hangouts theres nothing out there except for a sparse forest and a playground. Every year ethnic day is must and we need to wear ethnic dress on that day.

The condition of the hostels however is nowhere close to the college infrastructure. Tiny rooms have been allotted to double the people they should actually accommodate. Only a limited supply of water is available every morningso either you make it a habi

Every year alumini meeting will be held where seniors well tell their experience which is good. Since i am 3rd year student i can see 4th year students are very well disciplined.
