The college is a good choice for pursuing bachelor degree, I enjoyed my college days and i miss them.

The courses are very similar to any other renowned university, the thing that makes SMU better is the faculty of the college. The facilities that are provided to the students creates an environment of learning that helps the students to learn and grow together.

The placements are normal most of the students get placed and as far as I know all my batch mates are doing good in there life. I am currently in Taiwan pursuing my masters.

In terms of college fest and celebrations its the best. All year some fest is happening either it is departmental or college fest or some festival. There is a ground, an open theater and an auditorium for organizing these functions and the participation is also very good.

The fees structure is a bit expensive but affordable, the college has scholarship as well as installment procedure for paying the fees. Most of my batch mates including me used to pay the complete fees by the starting to the year. The college is providing facilities according to the fees so it is fair.

No, for me there was no need for any education lone or anything, about the scholarship it is easier for Sikkim local students to avail that.

Campus life s very beautiful you can hear the sound of river at night and the weather is very soothing. For extracurricular activities the gym is equipped with Reebok sponsored equipment, steam bath, swimming pool etc. Workshops are sometimes conducted by the students but mainly college organised.

Hostel fees is included in the college fees as Sikkim is a mountain region it is better to stay in the campus. The hostel rooms a comfortable, attached bathrooms is the best thing about the rooms and regular cleaning is there. The mess food is also good not like home but better than any other college mess.

The Alumni network is very strong the college faculty and seniors will help you whenever you need them.

I joined Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology by appearing in MET. After clearing you will be given choice of 3 colleges Jaipur, Sikkim and Manipal. According to your score you will be given chance to choose which college and what course you want to choose.

The faculty is the best part of the college they will be helping you in life even after you become an alumni of the college. When you are in the college of you don't understand something in the class you can ask then as many times as you like and even after that you can go to there chamber and clear your doubts. They never say no to the students.
