A college for day-dreamers

I have been in this college for 2. 5 years and still counting. I come to the college every day except Sunday at 11:00 a. m. It's a very good college. Neat and clean. Teachers are very helpful as well as students too. The very friendly environment here. That's it.

Every course in this college is awesome. Faculties are very helpful, they will always help you when you need them. This college is under Calcutta University. University regulates all the exams. There are two-semester occur in a year. Labs are frequent but you will definitely enjoy them.

Our college is a degree college where Honours and the general course is offered to the students. Our college does not provide placements.No, our college does not provide internships. Our university provides internships.

In our college seminars are organized every month by the departments where particular departmental students only can join. The cultural program also occurs. And a very big festival holds in our college which is Sangrila-college social.

Our college is moderate. At the beginning of the year, we had to take admission by giving at around 3000 rs. And at the end of the year we had to pay 880 rs. tuition fee for eight months. Before examination, you need to fill a university form for examination and it had to submit with 700 rs. That's it.

There are no facilities such as scholarship/ loan facilities. Our college doesn't offer the facilities. Our university has such facilities. But if you want to take a loan from a corporate bank or organization, the college will help you to get that.

Our college has many extracurricular activities such as singing, dancing, reciting, etc. Every science department has its own Laboratory and sports are held every year like run, high jump, long jump, swimming, football, cricket, etc.

Senior students visit their beloved college frequently. As I mentioned early our college organizes a seminar every month. So, the seniors come to join the seminars and give a very good speech on a particular subject as well. And their speech motivates a lot. So yes, they are very helpful.

I applied for this college to take admission. On the basis of marks of higher secondary, I got selected in the merit list. Then the department called me for counseling and documents verification. Then I submit the fees of admission and completed my admission procedure.

Maximum faculties hold a Ph.D. degree from a decent recognized university like IIT, JU, DU, JMI, AMU, etc and they are very keen to teach you. Yes, a particular faculty teach you a particular course and they are very helpful.
