Remarks

Overall good college if you compare to other colleges. They doesn't have any politics influence so the academic years goes smoothly. Faculties are on their role. Students doesn't get chance to bunk classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

Overall if you compare with other colleges they have the best faculties. Exam structure is following through Calcutta University procedure. All the faculty helps according to their knowledge. It was a great time I spent there.

Placement Experience

They doesn't have any placements and internship facility. They do have internship as a subject needs we go to other place for that but faculty help to get the appointment with the other companies to do that

College Events

We had several programs and events. They do celebrate fresher's day, Rabindra jayanti, Saraswati puja, annual picnic, teachers day. They do have events with out side companies also. Like fashion show, quize competition etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was less when I got admission. As it was autonomous so they do have monthly basis fee structure. Overall I have spent some 50,000 rs for my graduation course. Per year I have to give some 15-20k.

Fees and Financial Aid

They doesn't have any scholarships or loan facility. But yes if any students doesn't provide they do help by reducing the course fees. Faculties also help students for their further study. They doesn't have any loan facility.

Campus Life

As it is women's college they do not have that much strong politics inside. We do have sports day where students can participate in there desired sports. They have student cultural society where they select students for cultural progam.

Alumni/Alumna

They have alumni meeting yearly. Where ex student or senior get invited. They are helpful. If you have any doubt always they help to resolve the doubts. From each year they have 5-6 students who got chance to be in a alumni meeting.

Admission

Have to fill the form and according to the 12th results percentage they will select for the desired subject. One can apply more than two subject streams. They doesn't have any union so it's only depends on the results.

Faculty

All the faculty are best at their own subject. They are very much helpfull. They took classes according to the routine. We can get help over phone also. They doesn't have any partiality towards the student

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The primary decision was to contribute to the society like the great scientists who have done so before. The curriculum provides a balanced approach of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, theoretical knowledge from classes, assignments, homeworks and exams. Practical knowledge through the different workshops that are held in the college auditorium or online with successful men of the field who are brought as guests in them, from renowned scientists to great thinkers we have met a lot of them.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.

Best to find in the least.

The student must have acquired 60 percent in 10+2 standard. The application form is available in the college website. There is no application fees. The application is given out in July . There is 10 percent reservation for OBC SC and ST. The semester exams takes place every 6 months along with internal exams every 2 months. The exams are moderate in difficulty level. Our college provides an auditorium which can accommodate up to 150 students at one go. There is a spacious common room for activities such as indoor games ( chess, carom board, dancing rooms) etc. A separate grievance cell is also there were the students can give their feedback about the college premises/staff in the complaint box.
