Remarks
My college is an not a individual education institution its a group of institutions, so tat i really missed my college pride because while I am saying that i am an ksr college student. ,first question who ever asking me is 1st college or 2nd college and positive about my college is the administrative peoples are awesome really. They are very flexible in collecting the fees, sometimes they offer due system also for poor students i am the one of the beneficiary.
Course Curriculum Overview
I studied in civil engineering course, it was really amazing experience to study there along with dedicated teachers and classroom and lab facilities. And also they provides us periodical in plant site visit opportunities also. Exam structure was as usual anna university semester pattern
Placement Experience
During our batch passed out core companies didn't contact our college for placements but for other courses it was quite ok. While speaking about internships really very good, faculties itself put their effort to send our students as interns to gain our field knowledge and exposure. I didn't attend internships in big concerns to get stipends.
College Events
In each year we conduct inter college technical symposium in that i had partipated in paper presentation and won 1 prizes too. And yearly once we conduct international technical seminar by inviting the foriegn delegates in tat i participated in paper presentation on the title of Self compacting concrete, actually it was my final year project. And finally annual day celebration its not like happen in other colleges along with students parents also come and grace occasion, in that best performed students of the year in each departments were awarded i mean scholarships are provided
Fee Structure And Facilities
During my course of time the fees was very affordable and very very less as compare to other private colleges, actually i paid each year 62,250 totally for 3 years because am a lateral entry student. The main thing is transportation was free of cost they never claim single penny for that. And we were blessed to have very comfortable vehicle with dignified drivers along with cleaners compulsory. They also provided us with separate bus for girls in each one of the routes.
Fees and Financial Aid
Financially at that time i was very low, i got financial assistance through government schemes for my merit, provided with an amount of yearly 4000 for 2 years and for final year 6000 thats it. I applied an educational loan in Indian Bank,salem i struggled very much to claim the loan because my home town is semi village and the bank officers also very rude. Total amount of 1lakh and 4000 was sanctioned as loan for my entire course of time but it was quite difficult to pay the remaining fees
Campus Life
I didn't participated in those extracurricular activities actually i am a first bench student so I never spend time for those stuffs and i am a good user labs which we use in our final year projects actually in final year most of the days were gone in lab only with dirty hands (i mean lab procedure making concrete mixture)
Hostel Facilities
Sorry, i am very glad not be an hostler, i am a day scholar. but most of my classmates are hostellers, they share their rooms with other department students for making unity. apart from that some boys could stayed in PG's i don't have any clue of it. i enjoyed Daily bus ride with my lovely friend's.
Alumni/Alumna
In my college we alumni association am also the one of the member in it. They were conduct alumni meet every year on the day next to our graduation day. In my graduation also i met many of my seniors and super seniors. Unfortunately after marriage i can't even visit my college currently am an inactive alumnus so I cant open my mouth in this
Admission
Through anna university lateral entry counselling system conducted by alagappaa arts and science college in karaikudi, i attended the counselling in that i have given with a lots of options in private colleges but I preferred government college, my bad luck i didn't get any seats availability in my near by colleges, so i selected the seat in KSR engineering college which located in namakkal district. In counselling they provide me the joining / admission letter using tat i have joined in our college
Faculty
Really our batch students are very gifted to have such teachers. My HoD and mentors are superb human beings. They are really very supportive and dedicative to their profession. Some faculties are very effective they use real times models and lab procedure to explain our subjects and insist students to take seminar on different trendy technics which on-line
