Review of my college

I do not like the attendance rule of this college. Firstly they say that a compulsory 80% attendance is necessary for giving end sem exam and by chance if you fall sick even if you give your medical certificate, you are still to give away a fine amount of 1000 INR just to get that Duplicate Hall Ticket to give your exams. Plus it takes 400 INR for rechecking if you have doubts that paper has not been corrected properly.

Basically the course duration is 4 years. In the first year basic engineering courses are taught. in the second year, the depth knowledge is given to you with coming 2 years to learn more about it. Exams are held on a regular basis. 1 external exam and 2 internal exams per semester. Internal Exams are held after a couple of months and External at the final end of one semester. Classes becomes hectic as it starts from 8 Am till 3 pm and it makes you tired after such classes each consisting of one hour each with a tea beak and lunch break of 15 and 45 minutes respectively. Rest everything depend upon you how you cover your syllabus.

Recently An it company named Diverta took a student offering him a lumpsum amount of 42 Lacks per annum package. Which was the highest of all the placement packages given to students in the year 2019-2020. Following it came Amazon and human taking a group of students with a whooping sum of 18 lacks and 20 lacks respectively. Talking about the mass recruiters we have TCS, Accenture, HCl and Cisco having an average package salary of 4 lacks per annum each.

The College helds an annual Cultural festival called as Sathyabama Culturals which is held in the month of february every year. Diiferent celebrities of the south industry and rarely from bollywood visits the campus and entertains the manorama of the students.

If we look at the fee structure and comparing to other private colleges like SRM and MIT, this college has a quiet moderate fee structure. For my course it costs around 1. 90 lacs per year including mess and transport fees.

A student can avail the scholarship program simply by his/her merit and giving the entrance exam of the college and ranking in the top 100. Private Banks also gives loans on the basis of merit above 60 % in 12th. For Minorities like SC,ST,OBC,jains and Sikh student the college offers a 25% Funding of fees also.

Extra Curricular activities like cricket, basketball, football have individual events in which students can participate in adn win prizes. This College also helds All India basketball Tournament and all india Karate Championship with different clubs and teams from all over india participate.

Eventually talking to seniors is not to tough in this college. They are frank and helpful too. Some reviews this college as bad and some as good overall an average college. For placements i talked to them and their response was helpful as they told to focus on the course you have opted for and practicing in home about coding etc.

Data Science has made everything possible whatever we are doing on the internet today. I Wanted to learn about it after completing my 12th Boards. However as i couldn't get through IIT's and NIT's, I had only the other option left. one of my cousin brothers studying in this college told me that Cse is taught well in this college and i can pursue a better career in this field. Hence i cracked the SAEEE exams which is needed to get into this college. And Now i am studying in this college with 2nd year in progress.

Almost all the teachers are well qualified with either a Post Doctorate degree or Masters degree. Talking about the Interest that teachers gives to student in the class is well defined by the way of teaching. Smart way of teaching helps students to grasp more about the concept and everything is taught in english only avoiding their local language. But I dont like the attitude of some teachers in the college who do whatever they like to. they dont teach properly either by not making us understand or just by opening ppt slides in the classrooms and telling to copy the notes.
