How to live a pathetic life in my college

There is only a single negative remark as far as I'm concerned : Boys and girls aren't supposed to talk in campus. The college treats us like immature kids and stop us from socializing with people. It seriously affects our career, what if we got to work in a team with girls. We won't be able to talk in a normal way and the person becomes an introvert.

As far as the course is concerned, I'm happy with the syllabus and laboratory classes. The laboratory classes are too often to enhance the practical knowledge. Exams are hectic as they schedule the exams within a 2 weeks gap in between.

The placements are good so far! Companies like Infosys, IBM, Zoho, Amazon, etc. have recruited students from our campus. The college allow us to go for internships in companies and to enhance our work experience.

There are a lots of technical events that are being conducted in our college. Events like symposium, workshops, conference, Industrial expert interaction and other stuff. In the culturals aspect, the college has organised an Activity based learning methodology where the students are given a theme to work on. They showcase their talents regarding to the theme.

The fee structure is expensive! If the student is admitted via counseling, the tution fee goes around ?70-80k excluding the other fees. In the case of Management quota, it goes upto ?1. 8L per year including all the extra fees.

The college provides various scholarships for students who score above 8. 5 GPA and for the students who are first graduate in their family are provided with a fee concession. The students who are applicable for sports quota are also considered.

The students are mostly from Telugu minority and there a lots of Training classes in laboratories. There is no ragging or any gender discrimination in our college. There are certain sports events organised to provide scholarships and offers to students who win.

We have a good network of alumni who work in various MNC's. The seniors recommend the companies they work in to recruit students from our college. They have been of great help in my career development. Internships are also provided by our alumni group.

I got admission through management quota since the Anna University counselling session was closed when my slot was alotted. The fee varies for management quota and we had to pay a token advance to book a seat in my college

The faculty in our college are the best, even if they don't have knowledge in the subject they tend to learn and teach us in an interesting way. They get connected to us easily and becomes one among us.
