No. The college is a good one, certainly worth pursuing an engineering degree. The medical college is also a very prestigious one but quite expensive. I don't have any negative remarks as such. There isn't much to be critical about.

Course curriculum is good and is spread out evenly through the semester. College hours aren't much hectic and other activities and hobbies can be easily pursued. Exams are a bit frequent but one gets used to them and it isn't much trouble.

College doesn't provide internship on its own but companies do come to offer them to the students. Placement is good for the Computer science and IT fields, not so much in the Biotechnology field which I was in.

The college has two main fests, the Technical fest and the cultural fest. Technical fest is in odd sem while cultural is in even sem. Both are opportunities to exhibit social skills and gain experience in management.

It is a bit expensive. But mostly manageable for the upper middle class family backgrounds. An engineering degree would cost you around 12-14 lacs for the entire course exclusive of expenditures and living expenses. Hostels are a bit expensive too.

I don't know about any such scholarships I've availed but I do know that the college offers a lot of these, mostly to the localities of karnataka and manipal. I don't have anything else to answer about this and this shouldn't be a 200 character question.

A lot of sports and extracurricular activities are to offer. The college boasts of over 200 clubs which you can join, and there is a club for literally any hobby one might be interested in. Sports teams for every possible sport are there and anyone can apply for a spot on the teams. People are diverse and friendly and easy going.

Hostels are a bit expensive but the infrastructure and facilities are good. Selection of particular good hostels are based on GPA in the previous semesters. So if you are a good scoring student, hostels would be much comfortable. It would cost around 1lpa for a good hostel.

That depends on the seniors that you are in touch with. People have different personalities, if you are in touch with a helpful senior then it is a good help as they have a lot of insights and helpful suggestions, especially for internships and placements. I personally haven't interacted with my seniors much but I am a helpful senior and I help my juniors whenever they approach me.

I had heard about the college through website and had to sit for the entrance test. I had already decided to pursue Biotechnology before choosing this college. Selection process was simple. There are 3-4 rounds for selection where you have to go to the centre and submit your documents and receive your admission letter.

Faculty is good and qualified. Most of them know their fields and are nice to the students. Some of them even are Doctorates and bring a lot of experience to the class. My faculty was approachable and friendly.
