My college

The college authority is not good at promoting the culture activities in college campus. there is some rules like jeans are allowed inside the campus, fines for not bringing identify card, late entry etc.

Civil Engineering is one of the leading department in todays devoloping era. so it is a course to choose. The lab facilities are good with all mechineries and equipments. Teaching faculties are so friendly and they conducts tests frequently. Both it is not a hectic one. It helps to dcore more on the final exams.

Our college provides placement programs frequently in our college with famous companies like TCS,Flipcart etc. The college gives 50%fee reduction for those students having 85%or marks in twelth. But unfortunately i couldn't get this consideration as i didn't have that much matks in twelth.

Noorul Islam college conducts lots of technical programs like symposiums by various departments as part of their departments annual function and also by the college authority. But the college is so poor in conducting cultural programs. They wont allow it. But as part of the annual functions of each departments, the students conducts some cultural programs. we enjoyed it. It is our humble request to the authorities to please enchorage cultural activities in college.

The fee structure is feasible. In 2011_2015 batch, the fee for each Engineering department per year is 80000 Rs excluding hostel fee. there was a fee consideration of 50% for those students having 85% or more marks in twelth.

The college helps to get loan facilities from nationalised banks. I took loan from a nationalised bank of amount four lakh rupees. Bank gives upto four lakh rupees without any security. That was really helpfull. I am not aware about any other scholarship facilities.

The college conducts sports day on every year and it is really a good platform to promote students extra curricular activities. College gives highly equiped lab facilities in each deparments with well conditioned mechineries, which is so helpfull to enrich our skills. In most of the departments, the male ratio is greater than the female except in computer science department. Students from different states and languages comes here to study. There is no inequality as per race, religion, sexual orientation, politocs,ethinicity or ecconomic status. College freequently conducts workshops on various topics by each departments of Engineering. They are poor only in conducting cultural programs.

The hostel facilities were comparitevely good. We have four blocks in girls hostel. First year students having a separate building and it helps us from any kind of ragging by seniors. The food was good witj vegetarian and non vegetarian foods. But repetition of menus makes us fee sad. but overall the facilities were good. rooms are neat with non attached bathrooms. Provides free laundry facilities.

Our college have no ragging scenario ans so that seniors and juniors are in a good friendly relationship. We are all in good touch with them even now through social medias. but unfortunately i couldn't attend any aluminy programs yet. It is a damn loss for me.

The first step was through an entrance exam. After qualifying the exam, went to college to take admission. The questions in the exam was about the twelth class subjects like naths,physics ans chemistry.

The teaching faculties are so friendly especially in civil department. All faculties are qualified with their respective subjects. All teachers are really lovable and they are always willing to hear doubts and to cear it.
