I have passed the AIEEE examination and secured 165 marks and got admission in this college i choose electrical engineering because I have a huge interest in that.

The average campus placement percentage is excellent almost 90 % of students are placed in highly reputed government and private sectors some of the students get chances for internship from the college itself, Others have to try by themselves.
College Events
There are different functions which are organized by the students like MindBend, Sparsh, Autumnfest, Quest (by ACM), Chunouti (Sports festival), JoyFest (by iIndia), MMNCT and Prakriti (organised by applied Science department). MindBend is SVNIT's annual technical festival, the largest of its kind in Gujarat technical competitions and events covering all areas of engineering expose students across India to practical engineering. There are competitions, guest lectures, workshops and quizzes the robotics events of Mindbend are famous in western India and many more.
Campus Life
NIT Surat provides on-campus residential facilities to its students, research scholars, faculty members and staff the students live in hostels (referred to as bhavans) throughout their stay in the NIT, Wi-Fi facility is extended to all the hostels and the entire campus is connected via Gigabit LAN.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels (10 for boys and 1 for girls),are well maintained. Each year students are provided different hostels. The rooms are single suited except for first year boys. Every hostels are provided with high speed unlimited LAN, WIFI, indoor & outdoor game
Alumni/Alumna
The SVNIT Alumni Association is the organization in SVNIT which fosters the interaction between the institute and its alumni. The association consists of a group of SVNITians who maintain a rapport with their predecessors through networking, publications and alumni meets. The senior are so helpful to junior students. The SVNIT Alumni Association has chapters in India and abroad that hold annual meets to socialize and network.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is same as other NITS. 100 marks for the theory and 50 marks for the practical which consists of viva, assignmen and attendance.

The curriculum is good enough and not feel Like a burden for the student it is one of the best among all NIT's. Provides the highly qualified(PhD) faculty (professers and teaching assistend) it provide Highly equipped, well arranged, new equipment etc in
