The best private college and university in vadodara

Good Education,good faculties,extra curriculum activities,discipline,many opportunities for students. Bad didn't find any bad till now.

I took IIT JEE and 12th board PCM marks. Both are combined and then a ranking is released. 40% IIT JEE marks and 60% 12th board marks. Both are combined in this ratio according to the total marks.I choose this college ( PIET) because firstly I want a college in vadodara. There are 6 engineering colleges in and outskirts of vadodara. But the discipline and the education is Parul institute is best. When I took admission it was not university. But this year it became university. At my time ACPC done the admission process and allotted colleges according to our choices. But now it became university. They provide admission on there own too you have to go for there admission site.

Well I am in 3rd year. Not much knowledge. But actually companies don't come for internship. We have to go to companies to ask for the internship. Some provide stipend and some just give the internship certificate. Well this is the culture here in Gujarat.

Well I didn't had gone through this as I am in third year now and the companies come in 4th year for placements. But I know about my college. The students who got great marks in last 4 seem and who perform very well in aptitude paper and interview selects. Well computer science,IT,Electronic and communication has a great scope regarding this as most companies come for this branches. Mechanical,electrical and civil branches also receive companies but not much as compared to above said branches. The package of the companies they visit are like. TCS nearly to 3.5 lacs per annum. And other good companies also offer package of 3 to 4 lacs. And some offer near to 2 lacs pa Well navy and army had also visited our college. And some had selected to and got a package of 7.5 lacs pa.

Very big two main festivals. First -projection technical festival. Second dhoom cultural festival. Many students participate in both of the events. In projection other college's students also participate. But in dhoom its a purely only our college event. In dhoom,sports activity also includes. Dance,modeling,singing everything comes under this, preparation started one month in advance.

Well if you compare the fee structure from a government college. Its very very expensive because the government college fee is only 2000 per year. And here its 65000 per year. But my college is a private college not a government one and when you compared with other private colleges. Its nearly the same other private colleges fees is also near to 60000-65000.

Scholarship for the OBC( non creamy layer),SC,ST and for minority groups are available here. Don't know much about how much scholarship they provide as I come in general category. But a good scholarship for sure.

Campus life is just awesome big campus. Great greenary. Gender ratio is from my perspective is 50-50. For sports activity. There is a big ground. You can go and play anytime. There is sports room too from there you can get the sports equipment. Workshops are organized time to time.You will find every religion here and there are many students from foreign countries too. From Nepal,Bhutan,Bangladesh,sri Lanka,south Africa, etc.

There are different hostels in our college. With different rates. Some has only one room with 3 students sharing some has 3 rooms with great facilities including AC. The rates is around 50000 per year for hostel. The food is okay. Not very much good. This

Interaction with senior students is not that much. As both we and our seniors are busy in there life and studies don't get much time for interaction. But if we want some help. Regarding anything we go to them and ask for it and they help us.

Chilled out obviously. Labs are not frequently used. But used each week once for 2 hours. And there are 3-4 labs different labs ( at least for my branch - civil engineering ) so for a 6 working college day in a week half of the week you have a 2 hour lab.

Faculties awesome. Very experienced and active. The college's management person come to class to check the teaching of teacher time to time. If you find any problem with the teacher's teaching style. You can go and share your concern with the head of the
