Remarks
Don't waste time by getting admission in this college. Instead get admission to a engineering course there you have placement opportunities. In India jobs are so rare now. And after BSc there is no jobs for you. Its nearly impossible to get a job without taking other courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is bullshit. We are just not learning anything but just memorizing stuffs to pass the exam. The quality of study is very poor. And also the syllabus doesn't specifically give any reference book to study so its very hard and useless and the same time.
Placement Experience
My college don't give students any opportunity to get a job. we have to take different courses for jobs after the degree. Like I am a BSc honous student but after completing my graduation I have to take different courses to get job.
College Events
Our college celebrates all the programmes that are celebrated by other institutions. Like 26th january 15th august, Ranbindra Jayanti, Saraswati puja, Gandhi jayanti, also some college fest like freshes party.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its not a government college so as you can expect the fees are expensive. Though If you have problems paying money then you have to write a letter to the principal and describe your problem so he will give you a a lower rate of fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't get any scholarships tough my some friends got it. Those students who did good in thier first year got scholarship also our college provides loan where you have to pay monthly bill. It helps the poors
Campus Life
I am a physics students so the lab is very important to me. But the quality I get is very bad. There is not sufficient instruments here for students. And the present instruments are not at all in good condition. I am not a sports person. So I can't really have any option on this.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very helpful. They help us in every problems we face. Like in laboratory or in study. They also help for form fill up and registers. They are like our teachers. They also help the poor students to get help.
Admission
I had to fill up a form for the admission. Then after one month they uploaded the merit list. Then I came to the college. I had a big line of students where I had to wait for almost 4-5 hours. Then I entered the college. The stuffs helped us to fill up a form. They then told us to go for the file check up. After that the admission was complete.
Faculty
The teachers are well qualified. Most of them have Phd. But students from long distance has to come all the way to get classes. And eventually they miss most of the classes. That also effects the number of students are in a lecture. So even though the teachers are good the students don't get good quality education.
