This college is decent for the state level colleges in madhya pradesh and ranks second amongst them. The condition of the lab still needs to improve The classrooms are not in nos. as required but with ongoing construction of new academic block, this problem will be solved
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is decided by the college itself as it is an autonomous institute but is certifiunder AICTE. The curriculum is designed in such manner that it emphasize on the research and concept development. Labs are available but they need renovation according to new technologies. Exam pattern is two semester in a year and the average of all SGPA gives your CGPA
Placement Experience
Placements are good for the IT sector, 80-90% placements can be seen in branches like CSE and IT but for other branches, placements are not that great. Also the packages are not upto the mark for them.

Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee has recently hiked to about 1 lakh per year which in my opinion is not feasible for this college. Earlier the fee was 55000 for a mechanical BE student which is justified. The tution fee is of about 30000 and rest is other charges like library, medical, labs etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
I availed the merit scholarship provided by madhya pradesh government for OBC students. Under this, certain amout of about 30000 is given by MADHYA pradesh government to facilitate your studies and as an aid for fee.
Campus Life
Gender ratio of MITS is much better than other engineering colleges. There are not much active cultural societies in college but handful of technical societies do exist which can be a learning experience for the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni networks exist but often they aren't that fruitful to turn that into something productive for the college. Sometimes training to the students in college is made possible by the alumni working in various industries
Admission
The admission process for this college is done on the basis of the JEE mains score by DTE counselling of MADHYA PRADESH. After the scores or percentile are out, one is required to log in for the counselling and fill the college and branch of your choice for the state level colleges. There are 4 rounds of counseling. After the results for specific round are out, one can get admission into the institute.
Faculty
The faculty in the college is pretty much equipped to teach the concerned subjects of the course. Usually, faculty is approachable for clearing doubts and teaching in classes. They are well read and qualified for the job
