Remarks
Yes the management is rather ridiculous and very careless.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is relevant if not fair. It has no practical use except for logic. I find Indian philosophy too tough to score in and a career ruiner. However, Western Philosophy is good. But then again studying Philosophy only wastes your time and your parents' resources and leaves you unemployed.
Placement Experience
Placement is very bad I am brutally honest. I just realized this after wasting five years of my parents' efforts time and money.
College Events
There are events but rather insignificant and hyped up ones to be honest. The attendance criteria is so strict and rigid and severe that to attend such events you have to ruin your mental health. panic, and then worry if after attending the event you will get attendance or not. It's a very bad situation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Not expensive so to say since it's a government institution. But the mandatory attendance and rigid curriculum drain your money and time on transport and food which you could have saved instead and worked part-time jobs. This is utterly unfair and very harmful.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. I have not. My university offers no scholarship whatsoever and I have thus not been even able to avail it.
Campus Life
Campus life is okay not bad but then again it is heavily biased. Troubled kids are looked down upon and judged despite their sheer efforts to pull through and prove themselves. It is strange that this university always promoted brain rich and legacy loving people but my time has made me realize how delusional I was.
Alumni/Alumna
Not very. They claim to be helpful but it is not so. Honestly. The alumni is very grand and spread worldwide.
Admission
I found the course appealing. That's the main reason. However, let me give you an insight into my main reason. I withdrew into myself after high school and began questioning everything and reexamining life and systems. Maybe that is why God forced me to pursue philosophy.
Faculty
The faculty I must say is alarmingly nice. The logic professor is an expert and teaches as though she is meant to teach in Ivy League. The other professors of logic are equally good, as are my professors of ethics and the HOD. However the professors assigned to teach Indian Philosophy lack in proper commitment.
