A comprehensive view of BHU

BHU is a great place for any student who wants to learn new things and get engaged with society because bhu does not only prepare you academically but also moulds your character. The only negative thing is that being located varanasi it lacks exposure.

The course is of 3 years which is divided in 6 semesters. Course contains enough things which will be required to become bachelor and have A sound knowledge of the subject matter. Our days were mostly chilled with negligible pressure of assignment and tests.

The placement opportunity for Commerce graduate are few. But our placement cell works continuously so that we have on campus placement opportunity. But this is not enough and merely 50% of the batch gets job.

There are number of events that happen around campus be it sports, cultural, academic, technical. Some of the popular events are kashiyatra, technex, spandan, hultz. Out of which spandan is the official university event.

Fees of different courses are different. But they are Very Very feasible, being A government university it receives funding from govt. For my course I had to spent around 2000? for every year. Fees is divided into parts.

I havent availed any scholarship and I Dont know about any scholarship provided by my university. Although if you are A domicile of uttar pradesh you can avail state scholarship provided by the uttar pradesh government.

There are A lot of sports opportunity avail able to the students. There are couple of Indoor and outdoor stadium available with the required infrastructure and equipment. There are coaches and mentors for every game.

The alumni student network is quiet weak with no alumni meets happening but this is changing with great pace. Recently an alumni meet was organized in the campus and it saw A great response from the alumni.

As i was a Commerce student in senior secondary opting B. com was the only choice i got. I filled online admission form for entrance exam which comes in the month of january to february. I gave exam in the month of may and results were declared in july after which counselling starts from the month of august.

All the faculty members have doctrate degree and the have in depth knowledge of their domain. The number of faculty members are enough. Although once in A while research scholars were also entrusted with the Task of teaching.
