Remarks

About GLS University Faculty of Computer Applications has better and bitter fundamentals. Course structure is good enough for the students but fees are expensive. As well as the labs computation power us also low.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course us very balanced with practical and theory subjects. And exam Structure is pretty simple, We have 3 exams in each semester along with projects, presentation and assignments. The first exam is moodle exam which is our Digital dashboard for MCQ exams and course detail and student portal.

Placement Experience

Placement done your academic score and your skill in particular field. You can go in your area of interest as well as the company can hire you on your skills. College also helps student with more skill and knowledge to support their placement.

College Events

Cyber Shadez Programming Relay Logo Designing Dancing Singing Skits Sports meet Shadez Other more events and activities held by FCAIT for encouraging students skills and knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is bit expensive. Though GLS is now a separate university they don’t have benefits of government programs. But GLS provide scholarships for various students who might need help. Also scholar students get some of the fees back when the score more than 7. 5 GPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provide scholarship for those students which our bright and they want to learn thing better. If the student gets more than 7. 5 GPA each semester they will get some of that fees as scholarship fund.

Campus Life

In extracurricular activities we do have seminars on various trending topics, Women safety, Entrepreneurship and etc. We have also Days celebration in which students can dress up as the theme of the day and share memories with fellow students.

Alumni/Alumna

Some the alumni has their own company so they help in college to place their students in Corporate environment. Also alumni Helps students that how to survive in the industry. This kind of activity done on video conference as well as they come to the campus.

Admission

This college is near by my house, And also known for IT courses. It is situated in center of the city so students from across the area can also join this institute. It has vast and latest syllabus for computer science.

Faculty

Faculties are good and helpfull. They helps in your collge prohect as well as your personal project and also tries to give you some college work to enhance your skills and interest area. On behalf of that they provide mental support also.

Placement Experience:

In the second year of the MSc, many adtech companies come to the campus to hire students. In 2025, 95% students are placed who are interested in the placement of MSc Mathematics. One of my batchmates got an INR 48 LPA package at the Tech company Accenture Japan. And the average Package is an INR 17 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Maybe after completions of their respective course they have enrolled and can have a campus placement ,I have visited in one company which was odoo there they have shown us how the work is performed and also visited an IT and Cyber security university and 70%percent of student are getting placement.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our campus is very active with proving prior practise session and meetings. It goes on two phase ,one in semester 1 and another in semester 2. The ratio of Btech getting placed is higher than other departments.

Awesome hostels, Supportive Faculty, Modern Infrastructure, Moderate Placements, and Quality Mess Food

Placement Experience:

From our senior batch, 6 to 7 students out of a batch of 30 got placements in ed -tech companies, with one in he IT sector and one in Axtiria. Companies that visit for mathematrics students includes SmartSense consulting pvt. ltd., Axtiria pvt. ltd., Deodhar Classes, Acenture Japan ltd., Future First, Pheonix Institute, eClerx, TCS, Narayana Group, Allen Career Institute, Physics Wallah, and Chaitanya Academy. The highest package offered is 14 lacs in IT company. Overall, placement was good as many of our seniors go for PhD. But it is lesser than old IITs

An honest review for gls

I chose this college as it was the best college of gujrat and i only preffered to study in this specific university as i heard great things about this college. I honestly didn't apply for any other colleges because i wanted admission in this very college only by any means. Although i did apply to msu in vadodara and even got an acceptance email but i rejected it because i was already selected in my preffered college. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges. Admission process of my college was pretty simple as i only had to fill out a form with my 10th and 12th results and i got an email 3 days later that i've been qualified for provisional admissions.
