Remarks
The college is good on overall with good faculty, labs and project works and placements. There is nice way of interaction between the students and faculty but can be improved more in terms of alumni.
Entrance Preview
I have taken EAMCET exam and got 7000 rank. I placed the list of colleges i prefer in the web counselling and I was given admission in ECE in MITS.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was according to the JNTUA. There is scope for research, provided with sufficient time.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the students do their project works within college itself. The college supports the students with its extensive computer labs, library and other electronic labs. The faculty are always at reach to the students to clear their doubts. So it's not a great deal to conduct the internship within the college.
Placement Experience
The placements were good before to the recession but during the recession like most if the colleges, my college also suffered. It was no exception for the recession demon. But later things slowly picked up pace, top companies like BOSCH, Qualcomm, Broadcomm visited the college.
College Events
There used be at least one national level paper presentation each semester per department and also project presentation. Coming to the culturals, once in an year they were celebrated but with full Josh. Between students used to have sports fest, fresher's party and technicals discussions within the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is year wise which includes tutuion fee, building fee and exam fee.It is approximately 70,000 per year. But scholarship will be awarded to the economically backward classes by the state government. For the donation quota, the fee is not standard. It can range from 1-2 lakh per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The state government provides the scholarship to the economically backward classes which covers the entire tutuion fee. The student can also avail for living expenses which the government bears. The college provides scholarship to the students who rank the best in each semester.
Campus Life
Campus life is like a sugar candy which is so sweet. The gender ratio is in balance with 9 girls for every 11 boys which can improved more. Extracurricular activities are well encouraged and there are debate competitions ever week. College tops in sports like cricket and volley ball.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel and food were not that great as the rooms allocated were stuffed completely with many students. There were used to be less gap to walk. The bathrooms were less hygenic and the cleanliness was sometimes left to God. The food is good but only som
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is yet to improve. There is no proper framework which is designed connecting the alumni with the college and current students. Once the students are out of the college, there is not much contact with the college.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is in semesters with two internal exams per semester followed by the main Semester exams. There are internal lab exam and external lab exam as well. 30% of marks are considered from the internals and the remaining 70% from the externals
Faculty
The faculty are well qualified. Most of them have finished their PG and half of the faculty are pursuing their Ph.D. The faculty drive the students towards the practical knowledge rather than the book stufff. It really maintains the zeal and enthusiasm i
