Remarks
Only negative I think or rather that comes to my mind is that, since it was an evening college. Students were not interested to study. They would prefer going outside. And the way they take attendance calls are horrible.
Course Curriculum Overview
Evening college with good set of teachers to guide us. They were really helpful and cooperate us in every way possible. The best thing about them were that they were super friendly. Easy to access and available at times. Their guidance helped a lot.
College Events
We use to have or celebrate more or less every event marked on the calender. But to be honest, our fest used to be grand and spectacular. We used to participate in events like quiz,debates and also Participate in sports and other activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was pocket friendly very cheap easily affordable for all of us and the fee-structure was also good while the other colleges were charging high fees. We were one of those few out there who were charging very less during that time.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no such scholarship program known to me. Also loan facility was not there during our time. Even if such things existed,we were never told or informed about it. As per my knowledge,no such initiative was ever taken by our college.
Campus Life
We were a boy's college. We used to celebrate every festivities. We used to take part in more or less every sports activities. We even used to invite other colleges to come and participate in our indoor events.
Alumni/Alumna
I used to mix with the seniors a lot. Few of them even guided me to buy the proper books for our courses and I remember one of the senior gave me his accountancy notes a few days before the exams. apart from that they are cooperative and very helpful.
Admission
It's one of the renowned college in Kolkata. Admission during our time was purely on marks basis. Union used to take some amount for eg 20/- or so during our time for faster evaluation of documents were checked by the professor over there.
Faculty
Faculty is very good, very good of teachers with vast experience and knowledge willing to help everytime. The faculty is very much willing to teach us everytime. It was us,who used to ask for free periods or would bunk classes.
