Good College.

Our college is overall good as per the teaching but the campus placements are less and also there is no any solid support for doing extra projects which requires money.

I got admission in sagar Institute of research and technology ayodhya bypass road bhopal in 2012 on the basis of my rank in PEPT exam conducted BY VYAPM. I scored 68 marks in PEPT exam and I am from obc category on the first round of counselling I was alloted civil engineering branch in Same college but then I applied for upgradation and then I got my desired branch Mechanical engineering. I opt for this college because some of my school seniors who were in same college at that time suggest me to fill the sirt in counselling round as according to them it was in top 4 college of bhopal also at that time 2011 batch have overall good placement for all branch. And also according to my score and rank in PEPT this college best suits as per the previous year ranks.

I our first years we studied all basic subjects of engineering as per the syllabus of RGVP. We have to study the basic of all branch including Computer science and also computer science students have to study the mechanical engineering along with their main subject. Or we can say that the syllabus for all branch is same during first and second semester. From third year we move on our main stream and study our respective course till the last year.

For Internship there is no any company came here till now. But companies for campus placement do come to our college some of the companies which came for campus recruitment are 1. TCS 2. Xl dynamics. 3. Aspiring minds.

Placements are overall good. There are two three companies which came for recruitment one of them is tata consultancy services (TCS). Out of 700 eligible students among ME, CA, EC, EX, CS, IT & MCA 106 students got the final selection the Average salary package of 3.5to 4. The second company that Came this year is XL DYNAMICS this company is from finance sector but all braches of be and mba are eligible for this.this company took their test in 4 rounds and each round was the elimination round. So out of 500 only 10 got the final selection in the company.And the fees is to be paid ourselves first then some percentage of the fees would be given as reimbursement I don't know exact figures. And also out TNP cell has taken 1000 rs from us for appearing in the coucubes and AMCAT test.

Every year there is a technial Fest and cultural fest, the cultural fest is sagar utsav. In tecnical there are many events and it is of 2 days. Some of the well known events are robo race, Google pec a woo, technical raangoli etc. There is a entry fees for each and winning amount. Mostly the third and fourth year students organize this event they became volunteer and manages the local. Sponsor and accounts and all management of event. The students who participated in this are first year students mostly and it's open for all colleges to come participate. So students from many colleges participates and enjoy the event.

On the first year the overall fee was Rs 65550/ on the second year there is increase in bus fee from 8000 to 10550 in rupees. So from second year we paid Rs 2550 extra and it is now increased By rs 1000 more for. From second year the bus fee is optional. For 2014-18 batch It is around 75k as they are offering bags. With the logo of college. I think it is expensive.

The only scholarships i am getting from 1st year is post metric scholarship which is given by govt of madhya pradesh. But they take 800 rs extra from each students getting scholarships in name of processing fee without giving any acknowledgement and receipt. College has nothing to do with scholarship it is given by mp govt and only work of college is to check the applications of each students.

The colleges in the extracurricular activity is not as good as other colleges the college management is not eager to spend on these things. I can be understand by following experience of mine On the second year of college there is an even name baja sae which is organized by society of automotive engineers. Which is a national level event and participation in It does affect the ranking of college for this event we need to design and manufacture an ATV.

Hostel facility is overall good. The quality of the food sometimes we have to compromise but not always. There are 4 hostels two for girls and two for boys. All 4 hostels are separate. The hostel facility is available for only first year students from sec

Many of my seniors are doing Job some are in doing govt job and some are doing private job as they're placed by college. Two of my seniors are placed in triveni turbine in Banglore with the package of 5lac. . We worked as team in a go kart event we manufactured a go kart along with our seniors we Worked the whole day daily till one with our seniors to complete to the go kart. We learnt alot from our seniors.

Exams which colleges have control are mid semester and put which no body takes seriously but college management do take it seriously as according our performance in these mid Sems we they give us sesional marks. And for labs there is a Time table two days

The faculties in our college are well educated some of them are M. Tech from IIT, Mostly from nits and. And also some of them have doctorate degree. As per my experience of 4 year of attending the classes the faculties of the colleges are more than good t
